My husband and I are thinking about purchasing a wii fit. I'd love to hear more about it from other people though before buying one. So if you have one, what do you like about the Wii fit? Do you think you can get a good work out with the Wii fit? Is it worth the money?

I love the Wii Fit. I find it a good way to workout, although personally lately I have been doing more Gold's Gym Cardio Workout for Wii than Wii Fit, but I still like the Body Test part, which I do daily. The new Wii Fit Plus is coming out soon, so I would wait for that. It sounds way improved including being able to choose an amount of time to exercise for instead of keeping having to pick new things.

You do the body test daily? I was thinking of doing it every couple of weeks or something like that. Once a day would be good too... I could see how good I can get, maybe lose five years each day, until I'm down to my age! That would be nice! We just got the wii, so I"m doing wii sports... My sister has a wii fit.

Hello Friend, I have a Wii fit and I just love it. It keeps track of BMI and Weight. As you progress it opens more activities or stamps to mark you progress. Remember it is a game. The game section counts as you activities were you play a game but get credit for time. I like that it kinda keeps you interested and you think you have company by seeing other people where as if you were jogging outside you usually concentrate on you breathing or where your going. In the comfort of your own home you get to sweat without everyone seeing you. You put your own level of workout at your own pace. So if you really want to step it up you increase your own pace or follow the Wii fit. I really enjoy mine.

My husband just bought me a wii for christmas. My sister has a wii fit, and it's alright... but let me tell you, I'm getting a workout just by wii sports boxing! So get the wii sports game if you don't already have it, before getting a wii fit. That's my advice anyway! Have fun!

I was doing good at first on the wii boxing and then I started I guess hitting to fast and mostly on the opponent's gloves. My fit age is 71! I gotta work on that! One responder says that they do that everday, I was thinking of doing it every couple of weeks... but once a day works too! lol!

My daughter has one and as long as you are going to do the workout yes you can get a good work out. There is yoga, running, hoola hoop, sking and lot more to do. It tell you your weight and BMI - also your body age. Like I said its worth it if you do it and it better then spending money at a gym every month. I think it pays for itself. Hope this helps you.

I have the wii fit and the wii system. It is a great workout and very well worth it. Getting the whole system was one of the best things I have ever done. Happy Mylotting.

Yes, I think it is worth buying though the Wii Fit Plus is better than the plain old Wii Fit, as it has more games and things you can do on it. The Plus section includes cycling, jogging, an obstacle course and other things and I use the Plus section the most. I find it easier to exercise on the Wii Fit Plus as it is fun and doesn't seem so much like hard work!

I got the wii fit about 4 months ago. I think you need to make sure you take time to work out at least three times a week if possible, but it is a workout. I love it , they make it fun to work out. within 15 minutes of PLAYING you will be sweeting and you're having so much fun u didn't relize youre getting a workout. I definetly tell people to get one and dont forget to have fun

I love playing wii fit. It does help me losing weight and tone my muscles. I have the wii fit board and playing the Shaun White snowboard game really makes me sweat. Though it looks easy, it's actually really tests your balance. Wii kung fu dance is also nice although the moves are a bit slow. What I love the most is playing Wii Sport Resort & Wii Racquet games. You can use both Wiimote and Wii Board. So far, it is worth the money spent.
