I think I am going to be able to keep my stars this month on Helium.

If I can keep my stars this month, I might actually earn some money for writing articles. All I can say is, it is about time. I would like to make a little cash from Helium since I have been writing a little on there. I know I contributed about 12 articles in the past couple weeks. I waited a week to see if my stars disappeared before I even put the other articles on Helium. I may be able to keep the stars. YAY!

If you are not a US citizen, Helium is the best site for you to write on as far as money goes. Associated Content is a great site. They only pay upfronts to the US citizens. They do give you page views though.

Glad to hear you are having a good month, and doing well with your stars. I am actually more impressed with the amount of money you have for page views! I have only written a few articles over on Helium this month, a very low count, which means I won't make it to payout this month...very disappointing. I have been spending a lot more time over on AC instead of Helium, but I am not sure whether that is to my benefit or not? Anyway, keep up the good work!

Hi Art, I haven't seen too many of your articles in AC either! I wonder if you want to rewrite some of your older articles in Helium to incorporate the seo, then submit to AC for non-exclusive rights. I think it's easier to rewrite, instead of doing research for original articles. Mommaj is doing well in passive income. I wonder what will happen when she throw all her articles in AC over to Helium, probably jam up the system in Helium.

MommaJ, when you said $11 in page views, I thought you meant for the month! I have been re-posting my Helium articles (1 per day if I haven't written anything new) over to Associated Content. A lot of them are about art history, with some other topics thrown in for good measure. For page views for Helium for the month, I have about $6 and change. However, due to my lack of new articles this month, I won't hit the $25 mark. That's my own fault. For AC, this month my page views are at about $4...ever so slowly inching their way up.

Hi guys! I haven't seen many new ones on AC either. I have the notification on. I think two popped up for you yesterday or over the weekend. My days seem to run together. LOL The articles I put on Helium are ones from AC. I'm not doing that well on Helium as far as pay goes. In fact, I am only at $11 in page views for over a year on Helium. I am sure you are doing fine on AC. For some reason my pv money on ac is actually up this month. I may get a few dollars more than normal. YA HOO to me. LOL Anything, don't feel bad if you aren't doing as much on ac as you are on Helium, because I have the opposite problem. LOL I don't make much on Helium. Ac seems to work for me.

If you write for Helium you need to keep a writing star to earn upfront payments on Helium. I keep getting and losing my stars. I get excited if I can keep the stars through payout, because I earn upfront payments.

I love writing on Helium, but those stars are my nemesis. If I could forget they exist I might actually be able to write more articles. Since they introduced the first 5 to write rule, it is very hard to keep hold of my stars. I am hoping to reach that elusive fourth star, which gives the writer tenure. You can't lose that bonus star, only if your score drops rapidly and dramatically. My goal is to reach or better the 25 dollar payout each month. The end of each month at Helium is a very stressful time for me, but my love of the site is bigger than the fear of losing my stars.

LOL. Those stars aren't exactly my friends either. LOL I only look at my stars at the end of the month on a regular basis to see if I will earn anything for the month. LOL I hope they change their pay again. Those stars are so elusive and once you get them it is so easy to lose them.

You are so right mommaj...my stars are hinged on a bungee cord. They bounce up and down and out frequently. I am so tired of leaping articles. I think that the answer is to just write and forget about the money.
