Why do 13 year old girls INSIST on looking like tramps?

Because their parents let them. My daughter will never be let out of the house looking like that. Society says that's how women should look, and suddenly its applying to girls younger and younger and younger...

Maybe you are running in the wrong crowds if all the 13 year old girls you know look like tramps. Most young girls are probably trying to dress with the style they think will get them accepted by their peers and are too young and inexperienced to get the whole picture of how it sometimes makes them look.

I was a young teenager once and I think they behave like that because they want to attract attention from guys or their families. If you have a teenager then try to give her some attention.

The ones you are talking about are probably the cheerleader wannabees lol. They are basically trying to look like young hollywood right now, and the chicks in the music videos you know they are all Tiit's and Azs and I guess they figure that that is how they're 'gonna get a man' meanwhile all they are gonna get is 'a baby daddy' lol. No I wasn't one of those girls, I was a girly tomboy. Most of my friends were guys, and alot of girls were jealous. Back then I was pretty goodlooking but didn't know it. Now I'm just a fat momma lol. And I know who my baby daddy is lol

They dress that way to fit in. You can stop them from going out in the outfit but i'll bet they will con their friends into bringing something else in for them and changing. I have a teenage daughter and i limit her to what she can wear. You can't stop them from growing up but you can try to slow it down.

well speaking from experience of once being a thirteen year old..I htink it is to get attention, from both parents and guys they are starting to like boys and no longer concider them ewwww or to have cooties..lol..so they are want to appear more grown up to attract attention and what they do is dress up in what they think are grown up sexy clothes..I think every other girl here at mylot would probably agree that they have atleast once wore clothes just to make them look older(in there eyes) to impress a boy or to annoy a parent..

I'm not close to that age and don't have kids who are either, but it's so great you care. Teach those girls to respect themselves. They are just looking for attenion and you know as well as I do that the will get it. Not the healthy kind though. It's hard enough to get some guys to behave when dressed apporpiatly.

Ohhh dont worry...its just a phase that they all go threw,,,Right now they are trying to find themselves,,they are just exploring things..and want to share what is going on there bodies lol..like when they get there ummmm TWINS LO LOL they want to wear tight shirts and show them off...or wear makeup and say..see im old enough to wear this now..im pratically an adult!!! lol.But seriously its just a phase all girls go threw.,.so just laugh to yourself..and let them discover how bad they look..and tone it down..its ok..just have patience is all...take care!!
