We are now in the third quarter of 2009. Time sure go fast if you are above 50 years old,do you agree? Looking back for the last 8 to 9 months, have you achieve anything substantial? Did you get any projects off the ground? Did you meet objectives you set out? Are you fulfilling new year resolutions? For me, life has been good;except for this H1N1 fear. Many have lost their lives to this air-borne disease. Hope this disease will end soon!
Are you achieving anything you have set to do in 2009? Are they coming up roses? Do relate some of your experiences.

The discussion is pretty much like a book i read a few days ago , there was a beautiful comparission which i would love to quote :
" Time is just like your pocket in the shopping mall , if you are full you try to expends the full but if you are empty you think why you are empty ? but end is you go out of the mall empty pocket ! , same thing time doesnt fly its just that our thoughts if we are happy time flyes if we are un-happy it seems time doent move even"
Hope you got your answer :)

Interesting that you said that! I watched a video a while back and a professor was doing age/time experiments...they would ask young and old people to let them know when they thought a minute was up without watching a clock. The younger people would take longer than 60 seconds for the minute and the older people they got in this study, would say the minute was up a lot sooner. I randomly asked friends to do the same and I had the same results!!
I haven't hit my 50's yet, but I do agree that the older I get, the faster time goes!
As for an answer to your other questions....I haven't had time to do anything yet this year!! Time is going too fast!!

Yes time does go pretty fast especially when you get older, and I'm in my fifty. I have accomplished some things more importantly my school work that is 3/4 done. I'm taking a course for learning to write childrens books. So I'm happy that I have stuck with it. As for the Swine Flu they are now saying a second wave is coming thru and it scares me too. I heard Dr. Oz say that 1 million people in the states alone have contacted it. That is to many for me to be comfortable with.

this year, my best ever achievements is the gift from GOD, which is my little princess who was born in February 2009.. the whole of the last 8 months, was spend exclusively for her.. which I quit my job, and care for her full time at home..
despite that I have gone through lots and lots of hardship... but I don't mind going through this, and I had never regret in making this decision!! To me, this is a very fruitful year, which my baby grows healthy and nice.. and myself.. change my status from a single lady to a single mother!
and just have to pray that all those disease will be over.. and we can have better years ahead too!
