Weren't or aren't Paul, Ringo and John Christian? I thought it was only George that followed hinduism?
Also vaguely remember on a recently released interview, that John said the Beatles were a Christian band, and that he felt emotional in church. They weren't of course like Delirious which is a true Christian band with lyrics to match, but 3/4 of the members are or were Christians.

No, I don't think the three of them were Christian.

All four were raised Christian, but none of them were particularly religious. John said he believed in Christ's teachings, but I think he considered himself an agnostic. He did say point blank that he was *not* an atheist.

Are'nt the beatles were Christian?, I've read them specially John Lennon saying they are popular than Jesus Christ. If this is true, then this words are blasphemous, an unchristian like statement. But then their music prove otherwise, a little bit confusing.

that comment caused The Beatles a lot of trouble in America (with Religious Fundamentalists organising record burnings etc.) and he ended up having to publicly apologise.

The Beatles are Christians. The rumors of them being Satanists is another way for someone else to earn money. Their songs may be worldly but for sure, they do not mean to be. Just like any other poet or artist, I believe the Beatles were just expressing themselves in the best way they know. Their songs are timeless, and if it were that they are not Christians, I wouldnt mind.
