I have a friend who keeps and takes care of tarantula's,scorpions and snakes as his pets..I asked him why of all animals did he decided to keep those kind of pets? His reply was "It's my way of conquering my fears"..So,on your end would you also do the same?

Does a monkey count? Well I would want a monkey as a pet. That would be awsome. It just have to be a monkey that is well triand like a dog. I mean I don't want just a monkey straight out of the jungle and let it go all nuts on me. Just having a monkey would be nice to have for a pet. Better than having a dog. XD

what a great idea... having a monkey as a pet is like having a friend all the time because of its physical similarity to men. LOL

I would not keep wild animals as pet as i am really afraid of it. but keeping them as pets is a real guts and to feed and control them is even harder job.
I would love to watch these in closed boxes or zoos rather than my houses.

I would take care of a wild animal, but for a different reason. I would gladly take care of an animal in need. A bird with a broken wing, a baby animal that lost parents or something along those lines. I wouldn't take spiders though, i would crash them with my shoe screaming "Die, Die, Die!!!" I hate those nasty poisonous things... i already got a taste of their poison once, it was more then enough to dislike them.

I would have no problem keeping such animals as pets, most are not dangerous, but I would be opposed to taking them out of the wild to do so. I believe wild animals should remain in the wild. If one wants to keep snakes and tarantulas, captive bred animals can be purchased.
Are far as it being a way to conquer fears....well that just sounds silly to me.

Tarantula's,scorpions and snakes are very scareful.I even fear to think about them.Keeping them as pets is too crazy. If i want to conquer my fears, i will choose to see horrible movies. It is good to keep other animals like birds, mice.Keeping these pisonous animals is also uasafe. They don't like dogs and you don't know them really.

For me, I think no! It's too dangerous especially when there are kids around. I think I don't understand why he says that he wants to keep those animals as his pet, just to conquer his fears? How? I mean, how can he take care of those animals if he's scared?
Well I, personally was scared of those animals. Because I think those animals must live in forest, to which where they belong. Especially the snakes, that can kill a little baby.. But don't take it seriously.. It's just my opinion.. Happy mylotting.
