Do you eat breakfast every single day, only when you have time, occasionally, or never?
I am usually in a rush in the morning and must confess... I know how healthy eating breakfast is -- it breaks the fasting of the night before and kickstarts metabolism. It can also help you focus on the day ahead with the nutrients and nourishment.
However, most of the time I don't eat breakfast. It's not even a time factor thing for me. I stopped eating breakfast because I thought it was the easiest way to cut a significant amount of calories from my diet each week. However, I think maybe I will start eating a half bowl of cereal with soymilk in the morning just to get something in me.
How about you? How often do you eat breakfast? If you ever skip it, is there a good reason why (unlike me!)?

When I was younger I used to skip breakfast. Of course we all hear the saying that it is the most important meal of the day. But after I started eating breakfast, even if it was a small bowl of cereal, I realized I ate less during the rest of the day than before I started eating breakfast.. Starting off the day with food in my stomach kept me from snacking, and I was able to eat a later lunch. I try to eat my lightest meal at dinner since I won't be as active, and therefore should have less calories.

I was the same way when younger not having something to eat first thing . I cant do that now or I will feel moody and foggy. Actually, to keep me full and helps when on a diet . I always heard the worse thing you can do.

Hi Bethany, I have always eaten breakfast and consider it to be my best and most important meal of the day. It often consists of cereal (hot or cold) with milk, fruit, almond nuts, tea and toast. Sometimes I will substitute an egg for cereal. Blessings

I don't eat breakfast every day. Anymore I've started eating breakfast in the mornings before I go to work so that way, when I get to work I'm not starving and then have to wait until 1:00 when I go on break to get something to eat. I'm starving when I go on break as it is anyway.
So, I've started trying to eat something before I head to work in the morning even if it's something rather simple and small portioned. I'll eat anything to help tie me over.

Yes I eat brekfest every day since it is the most important meal of the day. If I didnt eat breakfest I would be weak for most of the day since I cant function right when im starving which I usally am in the morning. The only time I dont eat breakfest is when I dont wake up early like if I wake up after 12pm then I wont eat breakfest and will just go straight on to lunch.

Not usually. I don't have time for breakfast. I use to like cereal when I was a kid,now the sugary colored cereal stuff tastes funky, and i try to eat more adult cereal, but I seem to have developed an allergy to milk. My throat swells up,and I choke. Also always busy, so no time to stop to eat breakfast when i'm half awake. And I'm not eating those horse bars. Fruit and oat crap.

Of course i eat breakfast almost everyday. In a single month, there would only be at most one breakfast meal that i was not able to eat. If i do not eat breakfast, i cannot make it to lunch, that is why if i really am not able to eat a proper breakfast, i just go and grad a small bite, probably a sandwich or cookies.
And, unless i am terribly wrong, not eating meals does not help one reduce weight. It's like telling your body to go hibernate because there is a scarcity of food. So naturally, in order to survive, the body conserves the nutrients and whatever else in inside our body; thus, not being able to burn it as well. The best way to really reduce weight is to eat plenty. Small meals around 5-6 times a day. I know you might have heard these things before but it really is the truth. Just like bears or other animals that hibernate, their bodies adapt and conserve energy because there is scarcity of food; otherwise, they will not be able to survive.
And judging by the looks of it, you are already conscious and know these things since you eat cereals with soymilk. cereals which is high in fiber, makes you feel full, well, depending on the cereals. and soymilk, relatively healthier and more protein-filled that regular cow's milk. keep it up :)

I do not ever skip breakfast as it isnt good for health. I have read many articles stressing the importance of a healthy and heavy breakfast. Though being a lazy lady, I do not get to make myself some of my favourite breakfast preferances but I do manage well with oats, pan cakes, bread and all..If i ever happen to skip breakfast i will have a lot of stomach problems like gastric problems...

The meter is on the 1st morning, breakfast is the first meal of the day. Some people think that eating breakfast can reduce calorie intake, so as to achieve weight loss goals. Little do they know a great impact on human health do not eat breakfast , no good health, but will also affect the day's work. Do not play too late, or because a colleague thought of inviting the guests at noon and missed the breakfast, because it could be the first step towards obesity. To cope with the main activities of the day, so breakfast is best to provide the body's carbohydrate-based calories.
Milk is an essential part of breakfast, whether Western or Chinese breakfast, all do not forget to drink milk. Studies have found that increased calcium intake can reduce fat deposition, while the best source of calcium is milk. Oats, barley, brown rice, beans, rye and other foods rich in soluble fiber and insoluble fiber, soluble fiber-rich foods help reduce blood cholesterol levels, thus reducing the risk of heart disease.

yes as far as i remember i dont skip breakfast now. because i have an experience before if i skip breakfast my whole day becomes that tired, helpless and im effortless. and all my ideas are all dumb. i cannot comprehend whats going on in the community/locality where i am. and skipping breakfast did not give me a good reason to be happy because all i experience is bad moments. from that time on i learned that skipping breakfast is not a good hobby. since its the start of the day you should have much energy to tackle the days due activities. so i advise everyone to take breakfast because its the ultimate thing that we could be energetic whole day.

I eat breakfast each and every day of the week. During the week its usually granola cereal with raisins, dry cranberries and sometimes a banana no milk. Other times it will be again dry raisin bran. On the weekends I like to have eggs and bacon or pancakes. Every breakfast is with a cup of tea and sometimes juice.

Bethany1202, yes, every single day i have breakfast, in fact, everyone know it is health, but the most of young people don't eat, maybe no time, they think sleeping is more important, or most woman think it is can lose weight, and so on

No, I don't. I have no time to eat breakfast especially when I am late for school. When we don't have classes, I still don't eat breakfast because I usually wake up at noon, so in that case I'll just take my brunch. It's quite hard sometimes, because when I am in class I can feel my hunger. But I get used to it by now. LOL.
