Reading was something I did daily, but since the internet I have reduce my reading. I am a shamed to say it, but I did not read a book in over a year. Well that change recently, I was at a garage sale and the title of a book caught my eyes. The book is Sometimes I wake Up Grumpy and Sometimes I Let Him Sleep. The book was written by Karen Scalf Linamen. The book was absolutely fabulous. I am now going through my book shelf to find books to read. So how about you, do you read. Have you read any books lately?

Oh, I read one of her books! I dno't have it anymore because I donated it to the church library. It was called something like "Get out of the way and hand over the chocolate!" I would love to read another of her books if I ever come across them.
I am currently reading a Ruth Rendell book. I have over 200 unread books on my shelves and I chose this because I thought it would be a quick read. Unfortunately the first 80 pages were pretty boring. It's called "Speaker of Mandarin". The mystery has started now so I am getting into it. Then what to read... so many books to choose from.

I know what you mean back when I use to read a lot. I brought several books. I was planning to have a book collection. They have just being collecting dust. It's storming here, and the satellite always goes out so I am going to grab a book. I think the author has more books. I did a search on Ebay and found a couple. I am wanted to order them but the shipping was a bit high.

I absolutely love to read! It is one of my favourite ways to pass time. I usually like to have a little read before I go to bed too, as it helps to relax my mind and I can unwind from the days activities. At the moment I am reading 'The Book Thief'. It's quite a well known work of fiction and it is about Nazi Germany. It is a very interesting read and I am definitely enjoying it.

I personally have read a boatload of different books lately. I usually read at my full time job as it can be rather boring there at times. I have read everything from Uncle John's Bathroom Reader books, to a few Judy Blume books ("Forever", "Are You There God?", and "Freckle Juice"). I also read a book called "The Republic of Nothing" by Lesley Choyce, which was a wonderful book, and I am currently reading "Outtakes From a Marriage" by Ann Leary.
I really got into reading at my full time job due to there being not a lot to do between calls and there being no internet access for the masses there, but it's a lot healthier then watching TV sometimes. As a PSA from Saturday Morning cartoons once said, "Just read a book and turn on the TV in your mind."

I like to read and I try to read a bit everyday. I usually do most of my reading before bed. I read a variety of different books, but mostly fiction. I just finished The Book Of Negros which was amazing and now I'm reading The Graveyard Book. It's totally different from the other one. It's a young adult book about a boy who is raised in a graveyard. Not bad so far and a nice light read compared to a lot of the things that I've been reading lately.

I used to read novels just about every day before, all kinds of stories, classics, detectives, ghost stories, humor, and more. But, I haven't picked up a book at all for the past one year, with my job keeping me so busy. All the reading I do these days are newspapers and some business magazines. I am thinking of reading Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights". I have read that once before, so fascinating !

all depends on my mood, if i'm wanting to read or not. i've had the bug for it for a while now, but currently out of books and ended up finding a few at the op shop this morning. got a few there i've not read yet, not been in the mood for them. been on the romance thing, but it also has to have an adventure in it as well.

wow i like the title of that book. seems a very interesting book to read. i will try to look for that here on local bookstore. i do too choose a book according to the tile and not because i have any idea on what the book is all about. i want something that is not the usual book or nove3l that i get to see bookstore. cause those traditional pocket books are making me bored a lot to read books.

Hi venshida. The last book that I have read was early this year. Most of the times that I spend is on the internet as well. I do try to read at least a chapter once a day, but then I get tired already and just doze off. I am not halfway yet on the book I am reading, hope to finish it soon.

I'm still trying to get through the Deathly Hallows the last Harry Potter book. I'm almost there but it's taken me a long time. I usually don't have time to read these days because my life is so busy.

I am currently reading Never Be Sick Again by Raymond Francis. It's a really interesting book but after reading it, I am not sure if I will be able to view food as food anymore :D I love to read since I was very young but have put this interest aside during my teenage years as there were so much going-ons. I was too occupied to even read the papers. After I gave birth and became a SAHM, I had to make ends meet which makes it even harder to read. But I make it a point to at least read 2 books per month as I would like to instil the interest of reading in my baby since young. My next book will be a parenting book. Looking forward to reading it.

A year ago i bought a copy of The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoyevsky began reading it and, although i found it really interesting, i put i down after a couple weeks because of the same reason, the internet. A man can write a book with the knowledge of a lifetime but the internet is nearly infinite in its knowledge even if most of it is toilet humour and "adult" material. anyway, i feel as long as your keeping your mind active with meaningful material, not toilet humor or "adult" material, your only doing good for yourself.

I have been reading a lot lately because I have more free time. The book I'm currently reading is "The Next Thing on My List." It's a great book written by Jill Smolinksi. Today I also read I Can Make You Thin by Paul McKenna - a really great weight loss book!!

I am reading two books currently, one fiction and one non-fiction. The fiction I'm reading is the well-known Pride and Prejudice. I don't usually read classics in my free time, but this one is actually pretty good. The non-fiction I'm reading is Fractal Time by Gregg Braden, which is a book that explorers what would happen on December 21, 2012, which is supposedly the last day of a great cycle, according to the ancient Mayans. I think it's an interesting topic to reading about.
