Do you still actively participate in doing the Mylot Tasks?

When the Mylot Tasks was still new, I earned much from it. I got most of my monthly earnings from the tasks. Before, it paid $2.00 for the four-paragraph article. I would write 6-10 articles to reach the payout. Now that the pay is only $1.50 for a six-paragraph article, I haven't been accepting articles anymore.
Do you still accept the tasks?

Hi doris, I have been consistently doing the tasks once I see anything available that I am interested in. now that the payment for some articles have gone up to $4, would you consider going back to do the tasks again? It has help my earnings a lot. good luck!

Good to see that you too enjoy the tasks. I had some approved and I am quite happy with it. But just today, I accepted some $4 tasks and submitted it but the tasks are not at all getting through. Instead I am getting it back with a blank space. Do you have any idea why is that?

Good thing I haven't had the same expereince. this is why sharon suggests writing the article on a separate word document to avoid losing all data when mylot is having some loading problems. how is it doing now?

I am disappointed too. I used to jump on the writing tasks but now I rarely do them since they lowered the pay and they made the assignments longer.

That's the reason why I stopped working on the writing tasks. The number of hours and the effort of organizing our thoughts to come up with a great article isn't much compensated.

I think they will notice that people are not doing them like they used to and change it back - or at least I hope they do! lol

So far... i have only participated in two mylot tasks... i often check them out... but i can't find anything that interesting to do... so i stil earn here in mylot the old fashion way... posting discussions, responses, and comments...
I wonder who accepted the task about writing an article in wikipedia.org about mylot...

Hello my friend.
I have done many tasks before but recently, I have done a few. Just like you, earning money here "the old fashion way" is still the best for me. I enjoy the discussions still.
I never heard about that writing an article in wikipedia.org. ..
Have a nice day.

I really haven't done many tasks. I have done a few, but not in a while. There doesn't seem to be many tasks that I think that I could do easily or fairly easily, or even that I find interesting. If I see one that I think that I would be able to do, then I might do it, but there just aren't many of them.

Hello Dodo.
I also don't find the tasks interesting. Unlike before where there were many interesting tasks that I have worked. In fact, I have done more than sixty tasks before.
Have a nice day and enjoy mylotting.

Hi Dorisday,
I have done a few tasks since I joined, but since they always seem to be about insurance, or other topics that I know nothing about and am not interested in, I have stopped doing them. One of the first I did was about insurance, and it was accepted but having to read, research and check everything put my mind to sleep so much that I was put off the idea of ever doing one again! I do check them frequently to see if anything interesting comes up, and if they do I will give them a go, but I am definitely getting picky lol!
All the best,
Dranz

Hello Dranz.
Writing an article really takes time. It's the researching part that eats most of that time. The $1.50 pay for a six-paragraph article is very little considering that we spend an hour or two for just one article.

Looks like they listened to everyone and raised the pay. Still 6 paragraphs, however it looks like the paragraphs don't need to be as long as they were when they wanted 4 paragraphs. I've been doing them all day and making some pretty good money.
They approve them pretty quickly.
Good luck!

I never did do them. I looked at them several times and most of them were signing up for websites and I just never took an interest.

Hello my friend.
Signing up for several websites is something which I find very taxing although I have tried a few and have regretted after I have signed up for a site and worked but eventually closed down. It was just a waste of time.

Yes, even I saw how task creators have reduced the payments of the tasks to a great extent. I think you missed seeing the 4 paragraph tasks coming up with $1 reward. I was very surprised to see that. Actually almost all of the tasks really pay much lesser than what one should get.
So even I have started seeing the tasks with a reluctance stance. I wish there could be some regulatory authority for getting us paid the right amount as against the work we do

I have been very active in MyLot Tasks during september. but this month i have found anything worth taking. there is one task that pays $10, but one needs to donate $5. but i am not interested in that as my money will come back only on 15th November. also the article writing is not that interesting as it will get rejected. i will wait for appropriate tasks and accept only those i can do easily.

The tasks were awesome in the beginning; I never missed a payout. Then they suspended the tasks breifly and I still had some pending I was never paid for. The last time I tried to do one the accept button didn't work for me. They are not very cost effective compared to posting at a passive income writing site but whenever they post the $4 tasks I never find one on a subject I can write to without research and I am just not that interested.

I did also participated in quite a lot of the tasks when it was new. Most of them are the writing tasks as well, of which majority are the 4 paragraphs article. I had also done some 500 words articles during that time.
However, at one time, they actually do not have any writing tasks for around 1 month. That was when I stopped doing the tasks. Even though the writing tasks did come back later, I sort of stopped doing them and checking for new tasks.
I had also received the alert earlier this morning when I came to myLot. I did tried 2 writing tasks earlier. I got one of them approved, while the other one was rejected...
In general, I felt that the subjects were a lot harder than the previous ones that I had done so far. I may do some more if I'm free and there's some easier subjects among the available tasks. However, I guess I will not be actively participating in doing tasks as in the past, as I'm more busy nowadays...

to tell you the truth i originally only joined this site to make money, still the same but different, im making new friends and getting alot of help, the thing is that every time i look in that section its usually full of "earn 10c in 10 minutes" and other really smaller payouts than you are desribing, so hence i just chat away and try to find another way to earn lots fast!

Hello Feszman.
This site is really a good one to make money and this certainly pays. In fact, I have reached the payout and have been paid many times by this site. This is one of the most recommended site to earn money online.

I tried one and it didn't go so well. I wrote 4 paragraphs and submitted but myLot denied it. It was about baseball and thought I could write something of importance about my thoughts. It went to a different task and have no clue how that happened so it was totally unrelated to baseball. That was it for me and never tried another task. If myLot wants us to get involved and write maybe the task section needs to be made simplier. Also, maybe that shouldn't have lowered the payout rate per article.

I received alert about earning with tasks a few times I ignored it
