I wanna make a proposal to my girlfriend, I hope it gonna to be a surprise on a beautiful morning along with the first ray of sunshine at a attractive beach... The first thing I have to prepare is a RING, but the size of the RING is a big problem, If I ask my girl to be along while I'm buying the RING, then , there'll be no surprise. If not, I don't know how to prepare a right size RING? Do u have some ideas or experience to share with me? some additional questions: 1) Could engaged ring be replaced by some thing other, like necklace? I still preper RING :) . 2) Should the ring be on the girl's left or right hand? 3) Should there be two rings, one is for enaging and another be marriaged?

Hello Tony I think a ring would be best, i have never heard of it being replaced by anything else. The ring goes on the left hand. Yes if you get her a engagement ring, then on the day you get married you should have a wedding ring to give to her also.

ring size that's a hard one, maybe she has one laying around that you can take with you so they can size it. or may be you can ask her mother, or sister if they have any idea what size she is. Or once you buy the ring, she can have it sized after you give it to her. I would ask at the jewelry store for this one. what they think you should do.
