this question got me really intrigued, "Does weight really matters?". as i have observed, many or most of the women want to have a slender, curvaceous body because of the many advertisements nowadays that really promote on how to have that body that became our basis of defining sexy. in my opinion, anybody can be sexy as long as she knows how to carry herself. do you think the same?

Yes, it matters in many cases, most importantly in personality development and relationships when your partner likes slimness and you gaining weight increasingly.
It fades the beauty of a person whatever you be from heart. Many people give importance to outer beauty so why not to check food or eating habits for your personality and good looks.

I think that weight only really matters to those who let it matter to them. Unfortunately I let it bother me sometimes and so does the most of the rest of the world. I think women let the whole body image of society matter to them way to much. It's partly the medias fault but mostly ourselves to for buying into the sterio types. But I really believe as we get older it will change and it wont matter.

Yes, weight really does matter. Being overweight is not just a cosmetic problem,
its a health hazard. Being overweight can lead to heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and the list goes on.
Being overweight also can cause angina - chest pains.
The good news is that losing even a small amount of weight can reduce one's chances of developing heart disease and other diseases.

In my view,I think weight matters so much.As we live in a society which is injected with the concept that thin is beauty. If we are fat,we will be refused by the boss.If we are fat, some diseases will attack us.If we are fat,we cant wear the beautiful clothes, and so forth. However,we should follow the society!

cute pink I know where you are coming from and yes we need to
stop trying to look like the anorexic models as we wouldn't
really want to be that skinny. yes in health weight does matter, one'should see ones doctor and see if he feel s you are at
a healthy weight. If he feels you need to lose some weight so'as not to have high blood pressure, strokes or diabetes then do so
gradually and eat a balanced nutritious diet of veggies and'
fruits, lean meat, eggs, milk,lo fat, and whole grains, and'keep your
portions normal sized.

I think its all about the persons personality. I do work out on toning and exericse for health but thats for me and im not doing it for someone elses benifit. My partner likes me how i am and says theres no reason to be obsessive about my weight.
