I think it may be the problem every college student should face. Both options have their advantages and dis advantages. I am living on-campus in my school dorm. However,I am not quite like it. Cause in the dorm, you have no privacy. Every time I want to do something, others see it. They will probaly ask me someting or just watch me doing it. So I am thinking of moving out of campus. Whats your opion? Do you prefer living on or off campus?

I lived on-campus last year, and now I am off-campus. I prefer off-campus living much more! The privacy is a huge plus, and so if the freedom. If I feel like it, I can go out whenever I like and do whatever. I think on-campus housing is good for freshmen because it provides them with a feeling of security and boundaries. However, you can grow out of that very quickly. Once you are ready to become independent, I highly recommend finding off-campus housing. Just be careful to make sure you're checking things like amenities (you probably want somewhere where things like water and electricity are included) and rent. You don't want to wind up in a place where you've financially outdone yourself. But once you get the paperwork and planning out of the way, living off-campus can be awesome!

It really depends on the school. Schools in a metropolitan area are ideal for off-campus living. However, if you are going to suburban school, it might be more advantageous to live on campus. Yes, there is a lack of privacy on-campus. However, you're also surrounded by your classmates and you get to fully enjoy the college experience. I loved living on-campus and felt like I truly got to experience "college life" by doing so.
