I have been working on a scrapbook for her with pictures of my 4 children but I still haven't finished it, I am wondering do you think that it would be wrong to give it to her as a late birthday present or should I get her something else and give this to her as a Christmas present??

I'd say make the scrapbook a Christmas present. Then you have another 3 or so months to work on it!!
But if you think you'll have it done soon enough, this is something my friend did for us. She had a sort of book she was working on for us, but since she couldn't give it to us in time, she gave us a card with a picture of the cover of her book .. . and put in a note that "this" was coming! And we got it a couple weeks later.
What a nice gift for your mom! Happy birthday to her!

I think that maybe that is what I will do1 I am going to see her tomorrow so I will give her a card with a picture of the scrap book and tell her I am working hard on it so it will be the best present I can give her :D Thank you so much for the idea!

Thank you! That is what I was thinking I should do because I want the scrapbook to be special for her and if I rush through it then it won't be special!
