Kungfu Hustle is the best comedy on this decade, don't you think?

For all those people who haven't seen this movie, you should definitely check this out. It's actually a Hong Kong movie starred by comedian actor Stephen Chow about a village who is disturbed by a mafia who want to take their land. What they don't know is the village full of retired kungfu master that can easily kill a person in a few minutes. All the dialogue is absurd, funny, often over the top, exaggerating, all of which cranks me up everytime I watch this movie (for your note, I already watch it more than 5 times and never got bored). It even got nominated for Golden Globe for best foreign movie which is really rare for a comedy to get nominated for prestigious award and released in US few years ago. Have anybody watch it and agree with me?

I wouldn't go as far as naming it the comedy of the decade, but KungFu Hustle sure is one of the best comedies I've ever seen! I'm glad they didn't make it in English... that would have taken away a great deal of the charm.

Yes, it definitely will lose the charm if they made it in English cause the way they talk itself is funny...especially the mafia leader, which talked like he was drunk :) I don't know what other great comedy out there, I think there is only a few of comedy this decade that made me laughed hard...What's your choice?

I really like some of the Kevin Smith movies, especially "Clerks 2" (also Dogma, Mallrats, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), but they don't have the same type of humour like KungFu Hustle, which is pure comedy.

Oh, I also like Clerks 2! I remember watching it accidentally and love the quirkiness of the movie. After that, I search about Kevin Smith and just found out that he had created several indie hits in comedy genre. Thanks for the response!

Kung Fu Hustle is a great action comedy, but I won't call it the best Comedy so far... I've seen great comedies already and by far better than kung fu hustle..

May I know what comedies from this decade you recommended? I may overlooked some of great comedies :) Last comedy I watched is The Hangover, I think it is good but not that funny

Kungfu Hustle is one of the best comedy movie , it is one of my best movie i like tat movie very much, it was so great , i don't even no the time watching this movie.
