My youngest is sick. He has been running a slight fever since Saturday. I am just so worried sick about him. I guess it stemmed from a previous encounter we had when he got sick and we had to rush him to the hospital. We brought, well my hubby, brought him to the doctor and the doctor provided some medications for him but he is still under observation, they will return tomorrow for a follow up and to ensure that his fever isn't caused by Dengue, since it is Dengue season here in our country. I really am worried about him, I really don't like seeing him uncomfortable or in pain. I just pray that he gets well real soon, or else I might loose my mind.. argh

Hello Chaime. I hope your little boy is okay by now. One of the signs of dengue is high fever, rash and abdominal pain. I contracted dengue a few years ago, but I was able to survive it by making sure I was hydrated. I thought it was just flu because my fever was really high, almost 40C. Then after a day I noticed purple red rashes on my feet and legs. That's when I got scared and checked in right away to a hospital. With dengue, the fever seesaws, so it may be okay then go up in a matter of hours. Make sure that your little boy's condition is closely monitored.

oh chaime.. sorry to hear that your boy is sick.. and hopefully by now he has recovered..
Do you see some red dots on his hand? if you do, he may be dengue, or else may just be a day that our little ones fall sleep..
It's good that your doctor has prescribe some medication for him, and hopefully he recover soon.. GOD BLESS

I am very sorry to hear that. I pray that he is well now also. I know I am a little late for this discussion. Let us know how he is doing as soon as you can. I pray he will be alright soon.

If he has medicine the best thing to do is try to keep him comfortable and push fluids to keep him hydrated. Help him get plenty of rest and TLC. It's tough when your little ones are sick, so try to take some time for yourself, too.

I hope your child gets better soon! Seeing your children sick is always cause for a mommy to worry. I always feel like I would take the sickness myself if it meant my babies would get better. Keep your chin up...He will get better, and you won't lose your mind.
