I notice that mylot send alerts to keep us updated when new task alerts our out. Yes we are thankful for that well at least for the ones that love doing task. In the end the task can be pretty reasonable. I looked at one of them and Notice that it was going to pay a good amount but what you must do to get paid that amount was a lot. I'm Speaking from my opinion and point of view maybe some people might think other wise Do You Think Mylot Task Requirements are to High? If [Yes] Give Reason If [No ] Give Reason

I don't really see that many rewarding tasks to be done. There are the "common user" made tasks which either pay very little, or if they pay "much" they're usually extremely restrictive; US&Canada only, registering to a new site and make N posts then wait X time, etcetera, etcetera... you'd gain about as much from outright replying to discussions here in myLot and that's open to everyone. Then there are also the "SharonBucks" tasks, or whatever you'd call them. Write N paragraphs concerning something. I find it funny that my first task of this kind wasn't extremely well written and it was accepted; instant $1.50. However, I attempted about a handful other times and regardless of how well I wrote the articles, articles in which I have personal experience to know what I was talking about... I followed the criteria as far as I could tell in what came to the writing style request, avoiding the "dont's"... yet they always been rejected from that point on. Frankly I'm not bound to lose time again like so. I mean, they're pretty easy to write about, at least because I was working with subjects I was comfortable with, still, despite the good attempt I got nothing to show for for my work, just a rejected with the simple reason of "Not meeting criteria". The first acceptance felt more of a lure and otherwise I've been scammed for my time... or maybe I should just start writing like a robot and use every single suggested word in the description of the task, even if the text barely makes sense. Maybe that one passes through.

Hey cmdr001, I agree with you that the task can be easy and reasonable. While others pay a good amount but ask for so much. It's just hard to do. It's good to hear that you try it once and got paid your $1.50 but Sorry to hear that you didn't all the other countless times.. I bet that sucked.. I think that participating might earn you more then doing task because it takes a good amount of time when you can just earn 2 cents or more per post. So yeah I agree with you on that. but yeah if you keep on doing more task hopefully they will get approved in time.. take care and thank you for your very detail response we need many mylotters like you .. :)

Frankly I wonder if I want to keep trying. I'll probably will, if nothing else to see if I can cheat these odd reviews I'm getting out of my pieces in order to "Not meet the criteria", but other than that, I won't put true effort on it any more. I mean, it's like.. 15 minutes, one dollar and a half. Granted that I lost a bit more time on some of those other tasks I tried to go for, but at worst it were 30 minutes. Since I'm still talking with people and doing my usual surfing, it's no real hindrance.

15-30 minutes for you hey? These kinds of things take me hours on end to do. The thing that puts me off these kinds of sharonbux tasks is that there is only 1 offer for that one task. So say if 2 people submitted something, then doesn't that mean that the person can choose the best one and reject all the others? If I can remember correctly, there were similar writing tasks that had more than just 1 offer.

I took a look at the tasks one time but I decided that I wasn't interested so I have just been ignoring them ever since. To me they seemed pretty complicated and from what I read even if you wanted to do one you had to be accepted before they would let you do it. Since I don't always have the time to devote to this as I would like I felt that I could accomplish more by concentrating on what I do best and that is making conversation.

hey savak03, Haha.. I did the same thing. Looked at it read a couple them and realize yeah you have to accept the offer then do it. In a amount of time. People put there time and etc into those task and most probably don't get approved probably just deleted. Overall Conversation is better then doing task. Putting my opinion in a subject is more easier then doing something that has rules and takes up a good amount of time then come to realize all that hard work went down the trash because you mess up or something. Not all get denied I just think most do.

Yes and I have enough on my plate now. I can't afford to waste time on something I may or may not get paid for.

I think the reward is way too little with the task and yes I do agree with you that requirements are way too high. I mean I don't want to waste time doing a task that's not worth much and only to get it rejected. If they awarded much higher chances are I would consider doing one or too.. but so far the tasks really are boring to do

Hey jellymonty, I agree the reward is too little for the requirements they set for us it's just too much paragraph after paragraph. then you earn a amount that isn't pleasing what so ever. If the demand was less demanding then maybe more people will be glad and understanding if the reward meets the demand they seem to be asking. Well yeah Me I think task are just plan boring. Thats why I don't even bother doing them or going on sites that requires task to earn a little extra cash in your pocket. So yeah I rather stick with the whole writing and participating and putting my opinion in questions and subjects.

What I does is if I feel that the task is too complicated, I won't do it. If you think it's complicated don't do it & if you think it's easy, accept it, it's as simple as that. Out of 10, you will find 1 or 2 that is easy & can earn around 30-50 cents easily or may be more depending on the task. For that you have to keep an eye on the tasks daily because it keeps on changing daily & if something interesting comes along, grab it. the most easiest task I've done took me 2mins & I got 25cents. Happy Lotting

Hello taztheone, Thats awesome to hear that you can do task and it just takes you like 2 minutes to do 25 cents worth. thats real good if you keep that up you will reach payout in no time. I'm Guessing your just probably one of those people that are good with task un like me haha.. I'm good with participating on mylot and trust me I earn a good amount when I put effort into. haha.. But I think I'm better off posting off and on ... then just going around doing countless task that will just get me bored.. I find it easier to put my opinion or knowledge into a subject that I can reason with then just doing a boring old task but hey thats just my opinion and you probably think other wise but yeah take care and keep on doing what you can.. :)

I have noticed the numerous ALERTS telling me about completing tasks to earn even more from MyLot, but I find that the tasks are asking for quite a bit of participation. SORRY! I don't think so. If it was REASONABLE...I don't mean freakin' easy, just reasonable, then I will take time out to contribute to what others are posting in tasks.

Hello busybren, Yeah I think everyone and I notice that mylot has been sending us update alerts here maybe everyday or every other day about new task and etc. It' nice to know that they want us to earn but, the people that create these task are asking for a little too much well some of them. I think most are. So much Demand but so little reward. ugh..

I don't think they are too high I just think you don't get paid a good amount. If you count how many things you do and how much money is in your account the next day, you will see that you only receive 0.1 cents for each thing.

Hey mequan, So your saying you only receive 10 cents every day just for participating on mylot.. ? You muct not do it well you can go on my profile and I have post a blog with many helpful tips and it probably can help you increase your earnings on the site. Check it out. But yeah Task aren't my thing and probably wont be.. anytime soon haha. But yeah I think some are easy and others might be hard and yes Some aren't paying you a good reasonable amount and thats not fair. But hey People will do what they can to earn a little extra in there pocket.

Sometimes I think so. For example, the writing task is too difficult for me to finish because my native language is not English. Besides, I have no more idea what to write for those writing tasks because I am not familiar with the writing subjects. I love China

Actually the tasks here require much time but the payment is too low and not worth the time spent for it. For example writing article containing 6 paragraphs will give you only $1.50 and you are not even sure if your article will be approved. It will even require you to research on the subject which is too time consuming. So inasmuch as I don't have the luxury of time, I can't always participate in the tasks here.

I think the requirements are too high. It's hard to make sure that you follow all of them. And most of them are confusing. Mostly using technical terms. It's really hard to determine if you have followed the instructions or not.

Unfortunately I do not have much of an opinion on the Mylot tasks.. On one hand, i hardly get time to do them, on the other hand, some tasks are so lame that i usually don't even bother with them. Once in a while there are tasks that make sense and I do them and get paid for them. Being in India has some disadvantages for me. I would not be able to do tasks that are based on writing about US taxes and all..

Exactly. After all, they [task creators] aren't going to simply hand you out the money. For me, i find it rewarding and challenging since I get to do something that I love - I am speaking here of the writing tasks. I have been rejected but it rarely does anything to break my spirit. In fact, it challenges me to improve further. I guess this is something that everyone needs to adapt. Currently, I am 4x the minimum payout, thanks for the tasks! If not for these, I would not have reached payout minimum that easily. So, that's an added motivation right there!

Task - is fulfilling. Don't decrease its worth.
No, not at all. I just finished two tasks this day and the feeling is very rewarding. I made my very first task by 3:30 am up to 6:00 am and i think my efforts are all worth it. Overwhelmed by the situation, i started my second task this time and just finished it. This application is very effective for the members especially the people who is in dire need of earnings. Now that i cannot access to my account everyday, i need something that can at least increase my earnings even when i am away. So if you are planning to suggest to decrease the payment of the tasks, i beg you to please don't!

I think mylot task requirement is too high ...cause i once thought of doing a task of $1 and when i went through the whole requirement i was shocked cause we have to download the software of about 6 MB and install it for longer than 4 Weeks then only the payment will be done..oh god what a mess...

i do think so ...its not abt the minimum payment but the rewards that we get by posting discussions and also by responding to the discussions are very low...there should be a basisi for the rewards and the babsis on which the payment is calculated by the mylot.com is also not revealed ....so since the payment is very low it is taking ages to reach the minimum payout...
