Do you ever try to make your favorite restaurant dishes at home? What have you made, and have you succeeded at duplicating the recipe?
My best friend and I both know how to make Zuppa Toscana, the sausage and potato soup that they serve at Olive Garden. And most people we've ever cooked it for say that they like ours better! It's really not a hard recipe, and for the cost of a single bowl at Olive Garden, you can make a whole pot at home. It's actually really easy to find the recipe if you search online.
The one that always escapes me, though, is the Cheddar Bay Biscuits from Red Lobster. I make some pretty darn good biscuits, but I cannot duplicate those delicious, cheesy, crispy biscuits from Red Lobster.
I'd love to hear about some other people's restaurant inspired recipes, so please post them if they're not too top-secret!

I loved Bob Evans Chicken and Noodles as a kid. The best I have ever had! I found a recipe online as a copycat recipe, but have not tried it at home because one ingredient-Reame's noodles I have not been able to find at the grocery stores. :(
