Difference between Data and information ?

Data is considered to be information in numerical form that can be digitally transmitted or processed. Whereas, information is the attribute inherent in and communicated by one of two or more alternative sequences or arrangements of something (as nucleotides in DNA or binary digits in a computer program) that produce specific effects. hi........ vishroxx.... Its simple........... Data is a content which is stored as a data base... And what we retrieve from it according to our need is an information. We won't be in need of all the data every time, What ever data we have at a right time is information.

Data is a plain facts that doesn't give any meaning at all. But, when the data is processed, organized, structured and presented, it becomes meaningful, and we called it Information.

Data is something like meat and information like barberque.. data just something is not usefull because don't be precessed yet but after be processed become information... and information is very usefull for you or an other
