Do you respond to discussions that are are posted way too long ago?

I think I responded to a few old discussions!! And funny I find this post right now . . . I was just debating whether or not to respond to a couple ancient discussions that I found. I suppose I could look in their profile to see if they are still active on myLot, but that's too much work - ha ha. If I take the time to respond to a discussion, I hope someone is there to read it . . . I don't want to be typing away to nobody!

if I am interested in the subject being discussed, I still respond. since there is no restriction whatsoever.

Personally I feel that there is nothing wrong with responding back to discussions that might have been started a yr. or two ago. As long as the person who started them is still an active member here it could help make this site more interesting for sure. Many times when responding back to one of my friends discussions that they might have started I have to go to some of their older discussions just to find something that I might have not responded back too yet as well.

Yes, I have done that a few times. I feel that as long as they interesting enough, I will respond to them no matter how old the discussions are. I have found that the older ones are much more interesting than the discussions out there now. There are just way to many repetitive discussions out there, and it sure is getting monotonous. I will even search to find discussions, and sometimes I can't find them then either. So, if I do find ones that are several months or even years old, then I will just respond to them. Hi tantrums, Yes, if the discussion is still worth to response or if I have something want to say. But if the discussions is from 1 year ago, I wouldn't want to response. I just think maybe the person had left Mylot for long time and if the discussion is asking for some help or opinions, then my response is kinda to late for them.
