I would date an older man but only if it where with in a few years. I think that age does have a lot to do with how compatible you are with a person. I have dated guys who where quite a few years older and it makes big differences in the movies you like and the concerts you want to see as well as the plans you have for the immediate future. What do you think? How much older is too much older?

yes of course, theres nothing wrong with the age as long as they loves you, they can take care of you and as long as you love them too. my hubby is 14 years older than me and i would say that his almost perfect. a very sweet, romantic, loving, passionate, gentleman and very professional in everything. theres no way for me to say no for him as his passion for love drives me crazy and i love him so i dont care about age.

my ex is 16 years older than me. The youngest guy I've ever dated was 10 years older than me. I think the wider the gap, the more interesting the relationship is. I think the ideal age gap is a ten year difference where the guy is older than the girl. For me I prefer to date a mature guy and most mature guys are older men.
So to answer your question... yes I would most certainly date an older man. I would never date a guy younger than me because I'll feel more like a sugar mummy than a girlfriend

I have dated girls that are 5 years younger than me, but my wife is 3 years younger than me. I think that she is a great fit for me, I think that the maturity thing does at times come into play. I would prefer if my children who are boys would not date girls that are younger if they are serious, I think that the maturity thing can at times be an issue

I have dated a man that was 14 years older and another man that was 8 years younger. It all depends on the person and their personality. It really has nothing to do with the age as far as I'm concerned. The younger guy was into music far older then he should have known but he loved it. So it worked very well. Now if you talk about a guy who is in his eighties and she in her thirty that is disgusting to me. Then I think there is more to it then love.

I don't mind dating older women if I find her attractive & if her character goes along nice with me. After all many at times age does not matter but sometimes it matters because of ego problem. Men always prefer to be superior & if a girl shows superiority, it will cause problems later on. But as far as dating is concerned, I have no problem.

I am currently dating a man who is 12 year my senior. I might joke with him on occasion about how he was graduating high school when i wsa only in kindergarten..but really, we get along quite well. I think once you reach your mid to late twenties, the age matter doesn't matter so much as maturity. Yes, there are always the issues such a children and what not, but that was never an issue with us, as he has already had kids, andthey are mostly all grown, and he doesn't want any more, and i have never wanted kids in the first place. Yes, we have differences in what music we like and movies and such, but we both appreicate the others tastes as well and often broaden eachothers horizons and introduce eachother to things we had never had an interest before in the past.

I don't think age has anything to do with dating or getting married. I married my husband who is 7yrs older than me. Only difference is he will be able to get his senior citizen discount before I will.

Yes, I would. In fact, I married him! LOL
My husband and I have an 8 and a half year age gap. I was never bothered by it. Our marriage may not be perfect, but who's is? We've been going pretty strong for the past 14 years. And we've been together for the past 17. In this day and age that's pretty rare, especially here in the US where divorce is so common.
However, if I was still single I don't think I'd want to date anyone that is old enough to be my father. That's just too much of an age difference for me.
Happy mylotting!

my partner is 6yrs older than me. but before that i used to socialize with guys who were at least 10 yrs older, thou they thought i was in my mid 20's at the time not still a teenager.
i do prefer guys who are older, just that maturity thing. you can tell the difference when your with a guy whose younger. but as for actual dating, i'd go up to 10 yrs older than me. who really cares about the age factor, if your both happy together.

I think that age gap may sometime be a problem if the gap is too big. For me I would probably settle for a woman who is at most 2 years older than I am. i would not go beyond that as most women matures faster than men do. This means that even those women of the same age as the man will already be slightly more mature compared to the man.

actually in courtship there is no young or old. maybe you have heard already the saying the heart never grows old. in my part i prefer an older man of their 50's, 60's and 70's. its because i found in them the father like figure. aside from that they caressed me much. i like the way they prove their passion. i enjoy being with them. there is no dull moments. maybe i can feel this because ever since i was still young i always dreamed old men to be my boyfriends. at first it was just a dream with no reason. but now its no more a dream but realities and i found the reasons behind and i make it legitimate. if i were you dont hesitate to have older men in your life. try them and i assure you will really enjoy there company much more than the compnay of younger guy. anyway there's no harm in trying. good luck

I'm fine with dating older women. I courted one before who was 2 years older than me. I got busted. My (then) girlfriend, my first and probably my last, is three years older. Sometimes the age makes a difference specially when it comes to interest, principles and beliefs. Also with the level of maturity and manner of understanding.

I prefer to be with an older man, they seem to be more mature. My boyfriend is 8 years older than me and we have a beautiful 4 year old daughter together. In his previous relationship, he was 10 years younger than his girlfriend. I think it just depends on the person. Some women like older men and some women like younger men.
