My family and some friends of ours went camping from Saturday to Sunday. We had trouble putting up our tent. They are much different now then when my sister and I were girl scouts, but we figured it out. Then we dug the fire pit and looked for sticks for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. (We were camping in my mom's back yard). We ate dinner and figured out who was sleeping where. Luckily we had three tents to fit everyone in. After dinner we lit the fire. Time for smores and hot dogs. We had so much food. It was good though. Kids were tucked in and asleep by 10-10:30. The adults stayed up by the campfire and talked. I went to bed around 2am only to get up two hours later because I was chilled to the bone. My sleeping bag was not very good. Time for a new one. I had layers of clothing on and I still froze. I went out back to sit by the fire. It took a good 30 minutes to warm up. My niece then stumbled out of her tent, tripped over my tent and took off for the house. She had had enough of the cold. I went in shortly after her. We had a bit of frost. That's how cold it was. Once the sun came up, it warmed up pretty fast and was in the 70's. We took the kids on a nature hike. The hike was about one and a half hours. We had long sleeves, pants, sneakers, and socks, plus bug spray. Which was very good because the trails were pretty overgrown. I had so much fun. I am very tired and sore today, but it was worth it.

aww thats a really sweet story. A few months ago my grandparents, my parents, some of my aunts and uncles all went camping with my siblings and I. We had the best time all laughing and cutting up. We stayed in the woods and my dad has a travel trailer. But we put up these huge tents. We had a lot of fun my dad grilled all our meals and we went swimming.
