WOW LOL, im pretty sure the phillipine basketball team will never win the basketball championship as long as spain and the usa are around. The USA is like crazy fast and they move at the speed of light compared to them. And i guess spain has SOME skill, so yeah. Even if kobe was in the phillipine team they wouldnt win. Theres too many good players out there that could beat team phillipine.

I think it will be far fetch dream as of now. I am notunderestimating those Filipino players but winning over the olympics is not yet acheivable. For me, they have to improve first the athlete association and their guidelines and as to how they train the players up to world standard.

I don't think so. because what I have notice to the Filipino's is that we are good in individual sports like pacman for world boxing, efren bata reyes in billiard, and other sports that is participated of only one person, Dont you think that Filipinos are selfish???? Jjejejejejej hmmm about that basketball thing maybe someday we can won the title for the whole world but I think maybe in the next generations but this time? I don't think so. i don't think the philippine basketball team has a chance of winning the world basketball championship soon. teams from other countries are really good and they train more effectively. filipinos should be able to discipline themselves and improve their basketball skills more.

The Philippines has a lot to establish and learn from other countries active in basketball. I believe that the Philippines can be able to achieve this goal of winning the world championship if its basketball body can establish a good basketball program with a long-term plans for its team and players. The Philippines lacks the height but plentiful with talented and skilled basketball players. It needs to have a program that promotes team play, fundamentals in basketball, and commitment to the long-term programs set by the governing body for basketball. The players need to understand their roles with the team from being the reserved player to the offensive player. If the team plays defense, then everybody will have to play good defense. Superpowers in basketball like USA, Argentina, and other world chmpions have been defeated by other countries in because of other countries long-term plans. It is far from over to achieve the goal of being the most dominant basketball team in the world. Basketball is played by 5 players on teamwork and hardwork.
