How to write a song?

then dont think that you are writting a song, just write down what you feel at the momen. scribble down what you want to express at that feeling you are having. when you jot it down already then give another time to arrange it as a song. just use that as a scratch or words that best descirbe what you feel. hope that helps. welcome to mylot dan. i am letran's friend, hope you like it here like most of us do.

Hi, Danzylop! I think it is normal where you want to do something you really want to do, but you do not know where and how to start. Just like when I want to write a book, I can only write a page or two because even though the idea is there, but I just can't put them into words. Most probably, I am too anxious to get it done. So, if it is the same in your case, I think the very first thing for you to do is have a grip on what type of songs you want to compose. Try to relax your mind and the moment the idea comes, write it down and do not save it later. Good luck!

awww shucks! am not good with that either, well i used to try it when i was a kid but i didn't pursue and not my voice sucks as well when ever i sing karaoke. ..i hope the others could help you but unfortunately, this isn't my cup of tea. have a great mylot day..
