Do you sometimes Keep Searching For A Good Topic Here, And You Dont Get One?

Hi Archie, Well, I have to admit that, that it happens to me. Many a times I don't feel like responding to discussions and I keep myself off. But then there are a couple of topics that are really interesting and thought provoking. Sometimes with a couple of members it becomes like a sequence to discuss or participate in their discussions. One discussion leads to another and it goes on.... Its Fun then. But, I find myself a couple of times not responding to any discussion. Bodhi

As long as I can relate with the topics being discussed, I give responses. I always go over this section to initiate response to some and be out of this section. It's much easier doing the first response.

Well, personally this is why there are a lot of interests I have marked and will check out my different interests from time to time, and discussions my friends started, Hot Discussions, etc. as well. Maybe you were trying to post here at a slower time so people were not posting much. It does happen, but then that might be the time to leave for a bit and come back in later when you find other things you are interested in responding back to as well.

HI Arch! I beg to differ from you. Whenever, I am on mylot I do find topics of my interest and I see no dearth of discussions to which I can relate to and respond. Else, I have many good friends here, who keep starting quality discussions and I can respond to them for hours together, if I go to each one’s profile.

No It rarely happens that in the tabs or on the home page I cannot find something to respond to. If it happens then I go to the profiles of my friends and I am certain that I will find something there. With over 2 million discussions posted I doubt there will ever be a day when I find absolutely nothing and should that happen I would go for a walk and come back assuming I would find what I was not seeing before leaving.

It happens, somedays more often than not. Today is definitely one of those days, but to me it's the lack of topics as a whole that seems to be running slower than usual. I try to make a few new topics to add to the mix if I find myself struggling to find topics that I can genuinely respnd to.

I think it depends on your mood for the day. It is easy to reply to a discussion you can relate to or at least any discussion that interests you. It also helps if you have ideas about the topic, then you can explain freely about your opinions. I sometimes feel that way because first, I just started being active on myLot for few days back. Second, there really are times when the discussions don't interest me or that they are things I have nothing to comment on. But patiently searching can pay off ;) Happy myLotting! not always, but it happens sometimes. lucky i have friends that keeps me busy with their started discussion that i hope they would get busy of responding too with my discussion/s. so its okay to be with mylot and i dont have problems on being here and getting bored but it happens too but not often. its good to add more friends so from those discussion you get less time in browsing to find good ones.

Hello my dear friend ,i disagree with you as my lot is a wonderful site having all sorts of topics always and i never felt thet i have to search for any topic to respond in fact many times i feel which topic i should leave.

No, I usually fine some discussion to respond too. It is hard sometimes but I just keep looking and while I am looking a discussion will be started that I like and will then respond too.

Yes, sometimes I am not interesting about topics, so I don't want to reply. But i never make my target which how many topics I should reply a day, so I just take part in replying topic what I like. I thinks you can find some topics that you like and respond it. Thank you for sharing your idea!

Sometimes...and when I can't find any good topics to respond to, I just get off MyLot and go do something else. I mean, I'm here to have fun, and if I don't find any topics which are "enjoyable" I'd rather go do something that is. For me the money is a bonus now that I do freelance writing online that pays a heap better. :)

But I find that the topic are no longer meaningful for me. If I find the interesting one ,I will reply it.

Yes, I use the search feature a lot and still amazed that there aren't all that many that interest me. I still do search though, as I might fine one eventually. I have found lately, there have been a lot of repetitive discussions. They are boring and most of them I just don't bother with, unless it is a newbie that might need help, then I will help them if I can. I just hope that discussions get better one of these days. I have felt the same way today. Normally I find good discussions to respond to, and I meet what I want to do for that day, but sometimes it just seems that there is nothing for me to respond to. Sometimes some of the discussions just don't seem like I would know an answer to and other times, it just seems like the same old discussions that I have responded to before and I don't feel like doing the whole response again. So yes I do believe sometimes on mylot that I do have my slow days and others I find really interesting discussions to respond to.

It happens. Either the more argumentative people is busy or plain and simply it's one of those bad days. I do try to find more complex discussions to respond to, although, ones that are in my taste which makes things slightly more complicated. However it is a shame to see so many useless discussions being spammed almost minute after minute. Worst even is when you see a certain discussion that has already been posted like three or four times. I guess that some folks didn't noticed the search bar up there. Well, just keep searching, or wait for the next day. I surely don't stick around for too long to see if something worthy pops up... too much time being lost otherwise.
