Hi,
Do you check your spam mails folder? Or do you just delete it away? If not, and if you really read the spams, then have you ever purchased anything from a mail you recieved in your spam folder? Are they genuine?
Some of the spammers ask me to work and I can have an extra income, some suggest that they will find "love" for me, some offer Rolex at real great deals, some even suggest me to buy and invest in properties at Venezuela, Heeheheheh I am amused. What about you?
Bodhi

I sometimes check my spam folders, since I noticed gmail's spambot sometimes makes some mistakes, and emails from friends go into the spam folder. Usually, there is nothing of interest there, and I tend not to notice "You can make millions" emails from an unknown source...

That's the whole thing. Some people actually read this! I know of someone who actually signed up to a website that said she won the lottery. Some people send me emails and ask me if an email they got was true...
So they send millions of emails. If only 0.5% actually read, and 0.5% of these pay... they get paid, and it costs them nothing to send these emails!
Of course it is illegal, but then again, they fool people and steal their money...

Isn't it irritating when they repetedly say that you have won millions. Why do they generate all those spam mails if I believe that nobody goes through them. What is the logic behind? Any clues?

Yep sometimes some important mails land into the spam folders and we realze it very late. So better to check it up, and restrain oneself from buying anything from the "spammers". Thanks for sharing,
Bodhi

Unfortunately, sometimes some important e-mails from my colleagues jumped out onto my spam mail box, forcing me to check my spam box every single day. Normally, we are adviced to neglect those spam mails, but some of them sometimes usefull. So, I'd rather checking it first before delete it. =)

Hi Charlies,
You seem to be a very calculative person and yes it is true that some times some important mails lie on the spam folder. Good to know that you regularly check it. I check it always before deleting. My spam folder always reads "0" mails to be read.
Thanks for your views,
Cheers,
Bodhi

hi bodhisatya,
i do always check my spam folder because there are many mails which do not belong to spam folder but yahoo sends them in spam. Even sometimes letters from friends find themselves in the spam or from the sites i am on. I daily check them and if i find anything i should read i open it otherwise i just delete them.

Yes yahoo does that stuff sometimes so it is always wise to have an eye on your spam folders too. Thanks for your view.

Hi bodhisatya. I do try to at least skim through my spam folder daily for each of my email accounts that I am using. There is one that I don't always check as the spam fills up so quickly in there if I don't empty it right away. So, when I empty it I may do so without bothering to look first. But as I only use this email address for certain sites no one that I know knows about it anyway, so I don't have to worry about missing out on something that could be of importance.
Happy mylotting!
