too bad mine didnt, because i love ugly betty and some shows that have already been cancelled. anyway, i think that some of the shows really deserve to win. like 30 rocks writers and alecbaldwin. i like him in that show, but it's not my favorite cause i think a lot of shows can keep up with that too, meaning other comedies are written well also. anyway, i dont know a few of the shows and have started to watch them like united states of tara and the conchords show,
have any of your favorite shows won?

I was pleased to see Toni Collette win an Emmy for her show “United States of Tara” Have you seen it? She plays a woman with multiple personalities who range from a tarty school girl to a Vietnam veteran. She is absolutely brilliant in it and a fantastic example of her talent. The show is produced by Steven Spielberg. It is a must see, really good.

My favorite mini series, Little Dorrit, did really well. Seven Emmys. Someone said that was the most of any one show, but I haven't confirmed that. Still, a pretty good result.

No, none of my favorites won an Emmy. I was hoping Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory) would beat Alec Baldwin for Leading Actor in a Comedy, but he didn't. Also, Hugh Laurie (House) lost Lead Actor in a Drama to Bryan Cranston. Some of the winners seem to be people in more racy shows. Like United States of Tara, Breaking Bad, and Mad Men. Although the latter aren't as racy as the first one I mentioned. On the plus side, Kristen Chenoweth won for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy for Pushing Daisies. I like her personally, and she is from my home state.

No I did not watch the emmy because most of the show nominated I did not care for and it is that way every year. So I do not care who wins.
