You basically have the answer right there. You post discussions about almost anything,make the discussion interesting and insightful. Don't do just one or two sentences though those won't do you much good.
Respond to discussions that interest you,and also respond to the responses posted on your own discussions. I know it seems a bit hard to understand at first but you will get the hang of it soon. Welcome to mylot!

I like this site as it makes me put my writing cap on lol.
Already ive met like minded people on here like your good self,
its cool that you make a bit of money just by talking about the things
that interest you, i mean you cant ask for more than that:).

I don't think that I could make a lot of money here, you will be disappointed if you think so...but just do it as fun things, as you mention before by starting a discussion and replying some topics discussion. After months, the earning although isn't huge at all, but enough to make you smile and cheer you up a bit.

Well i must thank you for your honesty, ive been trying for years to make good money online and its never really come to anything, and believe me you name it ive tried it, except for affilliation.
I know you can indeed make good money from it but it seems to me that promotion
is expensive and complicated and i personaly become frustrated and disolutioned with it.
Who knows maybe one day ill find my niche :).......watch this space eh.

You have basically answered your own question there- starting discussions and replying to them will make you money. You can also do tasks which you can find in the menu at the top of the page.
Although I have not made a lot of money from this site, it is great for picking up ideas and discussing different things.
