Atkins Diet

Have you ever been on the Atkins Diet? I'm having a PET scan tomorrow and have been told to eat a low carb, high protein, high fat diet today. This is basicly the Atkins Diet as I understand it. I went ahead and ate my yogurt this morning, it has half the carbs as my cereal. Checked the nutrition facts for a banana and figure that is out. Finished out breakfast by scrambling two eggs. I usually take a sandwich to work for lunch, but figure that won't work today. I'm looking for suggestions for lunch and dinner. Had planned to make tacos this evening. I know I can eat the meat and cheese, but what about lettuce and tomato? Could I make a taco salad without the chips?
