My Friends and I were laughing hard one time when someone asked the group what is "Ikapang ilang pangulo si Gloria Arroyo?" in English. The thing there is nobody knew. We were really trying so hard to pull the sentence that would match that tagalog question. Are we really dumb? Well you could help and enlighten my poor mind. Still could not get that off my head

It truly is hard to translate that one. No, you are not dumb. It's just that some words from one language has no definite translation to another language. I wondered about this in the past too. I asked my brother and he told me it could be translated to, "Which nth president is Gloria Arroyo?" I think it's "Which" or "What"...more like "which". And nth, just like ordinal numbers.
