Help getting started

OK i know i may sound kinda dumb but i just want to know a few things. first I am a member of a few ptc sites and have noticed that you can click links for exchange credits. I have no idea what this is for. Can someone please explain this to me. I guess the easiest thing to say is that I basically want to create a website to add some of the banners from these sites and also the google adsense ads. I also have a blog site and would like to know if there really are some places that pay you to blog and what they are. I hope this makes sense lol. Anyway can anyone help me to get started with this and some of the best places to help getting started? I would really appreciate the help.

Welcome to mylot! If you have two sites that have that feature (not all of them have it) you can exchange banners (put one at the other site and viseversa). That will help you promote your sites. I almost never use it because I have found I get more referrals by promoting my sites at traffic sites such as EasyHits4U that also give me money for surfing. There are others too. If you are interested in links or trading sites, I do both. Luck!
