I was reading this on yahoo today and I thought I would start a discussion about it. Here is the link so you can read the article. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-burress-weaponscharges&prov=ap&type=lgns Now here is what I would like to discuss after reading this article I kinda feel like he really did nothing wrong. I mean I understand the fact that he had a gun that was not registered but why give him 2 years? I see he would only serve about 20 months but this seems a little steep to me for some reason. I am not trying to pass judgement but I wanted to see what other mylotters thought about this. Please share your thoughts on it:) Take care and happy mylotting as well.

Yes, it does sound a tad too steep. But there may be a lot more to the story than they are be allowed to print. He may have something previous which has never been mentioned before or there simply may be more than just weapons charge. We don't also get the whole truth from the press.

That's very true I did not think of that maybe being the cause for this. I just feel that was a little too much but I also saw in the article that he hired a consulant to show him how he can best spend his time in prison. Take care and thanks for taking the time to respond to my discussion. Happy mylotting to you as well.
