did anyone watch the season premiere of house?

If you're a House fan, what did you think of the season opener of House? I really got a kick out of how he kept trying to mess with the patients there to make the other doctors jobs miserable. Good comedy relief there because some of it was pretty emotional. Do you think the writers now are going to change House's character since his stay in the facility or do you think that his character will revert back to his "old self"? Any thoughts?

Hey there! I really enjoyed the season opener! It was really something. Hopefully, House doesn't lose his edge because he's now more emotionally open. I hope he's still the same witty House with less of his old jerky self. I also think that though he might not show it that much, he'll try to better his relationships with his staff.

I think House has a lot of love within him for those around him, it's just that he doesn't know how to channel it in the right direction.

I saw it and the small bits of comedy did help to lighten up some of the more depressing moods. I think House will be his old cranky self, but maybe without the addiction to Vicoden. At least I hope so, that was getting pretty old.

I agree the vicoden was getting a tad old. But the old cranky House never gets tiresome, that's who he is and I'd hate for them to change that.

oh yes! i love this man.!! i really hope they never change his character, as thats what makes him special. i actually didnt watch it when it was on as i taped it on my dvr, so i could savor it. and cut all the freaking commercials out. i watched it last night.
