Im 140 lbs and 5'4 in height. I don't know if I'm overweight already but 140 for my height and age is very alarming. I'm just 20 years old. I think I really need a diet. Could you recommend a food diet or anything to me that I could lose some weight? I have tried reductil already but it gives me palpitations. Fitrum doesn't work. Due to hectic schedule, I can't maintain going to the gym or just a jog in the village.
Would you give me any advice on how to lose weight fast?

The best thing for me was counting my calories. There are also ways to burn calories while working. Green tea burns calories pretty quickly. Drink a ton of water too. Anything spicy helps burn calories too. (Put some cayene pepper on popcorn--paprika works too) Celery is a negative calorie burner. Just do some research online you can find all kinds of ideas that will fit into your busy schedule.

Counting calories? hmmm.. maybe I should try that too. Is counting calories depends on the age and height or there's a maximum calories per day? I already have researched online but nothing seems to work for me. Well I drink 2 liters of water a day. I don't know if it's enough. Green tea looks good. Would try it sometime. I didn't know spicy food helps burn calories too. I really like spicy food, maybe I could add it in my daily food intake. Thanks for the help. :D

Spicy or should i say "hot" with any sour (neutralizer)...can be lemon or orange can burn fats. A friend of mine gave me formulation and I'll share it with you. You need to drink it before each meal. 8oz of distilled water with squeezed 2 medium size of lemon then add 1tsp of cayene pepper. Using blender, blend it with a glass of crushed ice. Like they say, green tea is a good fat burner and same with Oolong tea. It is also good for persons with hypertension and diabetic.

I think you are just okay but if you really want to have a diet, I would say don't push yourself too hard by drinking those Fitrum and stuff. Have a healthy diet instead, like eating fruits and vegetables, and avoid too much calories. Lessen your rice intake and eat fibrous foods instead. Also, drink lots of water first before eating your meal. Have a good breakfast but don't eat too much during dinner :)

I think if you just drink lots of water at night you will survive your banana diet :) And then in the morning you can have breakfast as much as you want. Yes it will be hard at first but if you make it a habit for almost 28 days I think there will be changes as you gradually decrease your food intake at night :) Exercising could be good but if the bleeding still occurs do not continue it anymore. It could be bad for your health. I hope you can find the best solution soon enough :)

Its not that much weight. I'm 58 and I only weigh a bit more than that.
The only real way to reduce weight effectively is not to eat as much as before and limit yourself to nutritious foods only.
Take the essential vitamins and only eat small meals several times a day. You can also try walking as much as possible. Don't use a car for everything. Try climbing steps instead of using the elevator.
Things like that.

I think the efficient way to lose weight is very slow. If you lost weight very fast it will affect your health. I don’t agree with the way. I like to take exercise step by step, and eat a bit less than before. In six months or one year I can see the result.now I’m practicing my way to lose weight and I think it suits me. Basically I walk every day for one hour roughly, and I don’t dinner. By 3pm I have my late lunch then I will eat nothing until next morning. It really helps me.

Wow. you don't starve at night? My body is used to eat big at dinner that's why it's hard to just quit the habit. I'll try my best to take it slow and to gradually lose weight.

Accepting things and being content with something will never lead to progress, I'm happy that I'm not satisfied (and hopefully will never be tbh) with my physique because it gives me something to work for that isn't for anyone else's benefit except mine. And I don't really see what's wrong with vanity/physical appearance, people might take it farther than needed, but it's still what makes a person that person and it reflects a lot about what that person's like. As for the

Reasonable control diet is the first step in a successful weight loss, and I developed a detailed recipe, no special circumstances, depending on the recipe diet. One week, for example.

Tuesday
Breakfast: milk, bread, apple; lunch: a small bowl of rice, bean sprouts, small vegetables, seaweed soup; Dinner: steak, tomatoes, coffee.
Wednesday
Breakfast: 1 boiled egg, a small bowl of porridge; lunch: a small bowl of rice, eggs, fried tomatoes, lentils, Douhua soup; Dinner: a bowl of vegetable noodles, apple one.
Thursday
Breakfast: a cucumber, a pancake, not fresh big chestnut; lunch: rice and a small bowl, green peppers fried beef, fried carrots, winter melon soup; Dinner: fried leek, burn the bean curd, a small bowl of porridge.
Friday
Breakfast: tomato juice, a steamed bread, apple; lunch: a small bowl of rice, fried spinach, fried onion, seaweed soup; Dinner: octopus, vegetable salad, baked bread.

hi you are only a little overweight and before you start starving'yourself go see your doctor and get some advice'abvout
how much you need to lose, you arent really fat,but of course as i
also am short,5 3 one has to keep trim.and as to fast my doctor said'
no dont do that, lose only five or six pounds a month then you will
keep it off, also eat a lot of veggies and fruits and some lean meat, some eggs, several glasses of lowfat milk and some wholegrain foods, an do not go below 1500 calories a day, also get some exercise, walking or playing tennis or golf or even gardening and cleaning your'house, all are aerobic exercises we all need at least a half hour most days.try the 10000 step plan and get a cheap pedometer and check how many steps you take in a day, it might surprise you. good luck and dont do it too fast. see your doctor.

I think i really need to get a food diary. Sometimes, i really don't take account what I eat. Actually that's the only way I get to exercise, cleaning my house, but i think it's not enough. Walking in our village is a good idea. Another great idea is the 10000 step plan, I would really buy a cheap pedometer and try the 10000 step plan. I hope it works. Thanks for the great ideas. :D

There is no magic pill to loose weight. Eat less and exercise more and you will loose.
Cut back slightly on fattening foods. If you eat more vegetables you will feel full and eat less of the stuff that makes you fat.

I think just by cutting off all soft drinks and fast food from your diet, you can lose weight every fast.
Probably walk a bit faster, and take stairs instead of waiting for the elevator to substitute for the lack of exercise. My brother's galfriend recently took up stair climbing as her one and only form of exercise.
Just five minutes to ten minutes of exercise every day, and she sweats as if caught in a thunderstorm. She usually climbed to 11th storeys, took the elevator to ground floor and then walked up again. It took her just three minutes of walking to 11th storeys.
Once my friend took up stairs climbing as exercise in the morning. Her office was on the 40th storey in the business district. She used slightly more than ten minutes.

I do not think you are to much overweight. If you want to lose weight then you should go to your doctor see how much you should lose. He will then tell you how to lose the weight. You should stay away from reductil and other diet pills or formulas. The best thing is to eat healthier food and exercise.

I usually eat less because at 47, it is harder to burn calories. You are still young so it should be easier and quicker to do it by really, really making time to engage in physical activities, even if it's only 10-15 min./day. I have never tried any reducing pills because I don't know how my body will react to it (in your case, you get palpitations). I suggest you stay away from them. Have a fruit and veggie diet, and drink lots of water. Avoid snacking too much but if you do, go for those whole grains, all natural stuff like granola bars, nuts and seeds and the like. Hey, I don't want to be repetitive but that's all I can think of and you probably heard all of them before. Good luck.

i'm also 20 yrs old, i stand at 5'1 and i weigh 110 lbs. as far as my BMI is concerned, i'm normal for my weight but i still want to lose weight at least reaching 100 lbs. as for your bmi,you are also normal since 5'4 height should have a BMI in the range of 18.5-24.9 so you still stand at normal weight. i suggest taking notes of what you eat and try counting the calories per day. i usually make it a point to eat less than 1000 calories a day.
