The long lost friend... after how many years?

I recently met with one of my long lost friend whom I never seen for 30 years!.. But what really surprised me was that both of us recognised each other even after these long years with a lot of physical changes in ourselves hehehe... We met at a hypermarket with hundreds of customers, and yet we actually bumped into each other at the counter. What a coincidence. To catch up with the lost years, we met again later at my place. Any similar experience?

Im still 18, so the longest one is...uhm.. 16, i met them in kindergarten. Until now we stull keep intouch :D

I have a similar experience but we didn't actually 'meet' like you and your friend. I had a chance to chat with a high school friend who I haven't heard from for like 20 years. She saw me on facebook and sent me a message. Good thing I used my maiden name. I contacted her through YM and we chatted for a while, catching up on what has happened for the past years. She actually said that it's a good thing she was able to talk to a friend because she just migrated to another country with her family and she misses everyone a lot. She was kinda sad, homesick i think, and I told her, if she needs someone to talk to, she can talk to me any time since I'm online most of the time.

Thats gooood. Its really nice to hear from a long lost friend whom we really were really close before isn't it? And to be here (like in your case) and being a listener to her would definitely release her homesick :-) Happy mylotting

i found my friends on a social networking site, and i have met them after 10 years approx.I was very happy to see them there.I even chatted with them,we both agreed, its long time enough and the bet thing she recognised me.I was sad to see that some friends were happy to see me but some had no effect.

hi! that was a wonderful experience. Maybe you were so close to each other back then that you were able to recognize each other even so many years have passed. Surely you have so many things to catch up with sharing what has transpired in your life on the absence of each other. It is very nice feeling to reminisce the good memories you shared together. happy mylotting..
