Charice is a young singer who was discovered through YouTube by Oprah and Ellen deGeneres and will be releasing an album produced by David Foster.
So far all the songs I hear from her would remind me of someone's voice or style. I don't mean that she is unoriginal, but for me, she is yet to have a voice of her own, something that when I hear it, I'll immediately and only think of *Charice* and Charice alone.
Do you agree? Disagree? Do a search on YouTube for Charice if you don't know her.

Who doesn't know Charice. She has become so popular that even international celebrities took notice of her. Hmm, with regard to her style, I believe that it is her original, distinct of her. She may have similarities with singers, but I will immediately recognize that it is hers.

Yes I heard of her because she is a Filipino, Charice is a name that was bang to the Hollywood when Ellen and Oprah discovered her, but actually she was discovered fist in Korea then the Korean like her so much and I think they have refereed it to other country that's why she was introduced outside the Philippines.
She is a good singer her voice is similar to Whitney Huston. She has tah big voice in her young age, what a brilliant voice, I admire her songs like "Always you".
She is a talented Girl I'm proud of her because she shows other country that Filipinos are talented persons....
Thanks for this discussion.. Take Care God bless

I know her of course. Well, who wouldn't know her if you're from the Philippines. I got to follow her ever since Little Big Star days. I knew right there and then that she's the one who's got the real talent among her contenders. It's just that she lacks of charm which caused her defeat on the show. I must agree though that she used to remind us of other artists voice such as Celine Dion and others. Well, I don't really mind it. What's important is the way she brings pride and honor to our country.
