is speed of your computer quick enough?

Hi there. Unfortunately my laptop isn't fast enough to run basic programs. It only has the minimum recommended RAM for windows vista and running an anti-virus, firewall and anti-spyware program at once does slow it down. I do not even want to talk about gaming lol. It has an integrated graphics card which makes it tough.

what is the spec of your PC? virus, bad ssctor, RAM, processor can affect the speed of your PC.

I am fairly happy with the speed of my computer. I have dialup so there is not much to expect from it. Most of the websites I visit load fairly quick for me. A few of them load slow as a turtle though.

either your pc is infected by malicious program or your OS is corrupted or both.. since you mentioned that even browsing is slow and you have to reset your System several time, it recommended you try to reinstalling your OS to prevent damage to your Hard-drive..

Hello there Well my desktop is a old version and its ram and harddisk capacities are really really very low, my pc speed is not upto my satisfaction but i cannot help it though, i need some money if i have to configure my pc.And i am trying to save some this time. But its gonna take a lot of money so i am just waiting when i have enough to spend and get my desktop totally configured.

Hi fw! I am facing the same problem. My gmail and mylot, as well, both are working very slow for the past few days and I feel disgusted when working either on gmail or mylot. I feel that there is problem from the backhand. It may not be fault of our PCs.

Maybe what you just need is the basic PC maintenance - clear temp files or similar trash/junk files, a registry fix/optimization and a disc defrag. There's a lot of down-loadable free utilities for these and one of them is ccleaner and defraggler.

I think that is not the problem of hardware. that is just the problem of the operating system you have installed. there must be an intrusion of trojan or other virus. which is creating problems. I will suggest you to format the pc once more and it will work fine.
