There is a news in our area, a single mother was taking shower and then she heard her baby girl's crying, and it stopped quickly. The mother opened the bathroom door and found her 3 months daugter was missing on her bed, but the outer door was opened. She stepped out quickly without wearing her clothes and crying for help...
As also being a mon, I think I well understand her. What do you think of this case? If you were in her shoes, what will you do?

I must agree i would do the same but if i was in her position. But i always ensure that my door is locked before i get into the shower or even go up stairs as it only take seconds for someone to come into your house and take what they like.I am one for locking my door all the time.

Hello, Snowcat, how old is your kid? So naughty he is! I have a son who is almost 12 months old, very naughty also, he can not keep a minute's silence unless he is sleeping. I love him so much!

I don't think she would have paused to think of her attire. A mother would obviously rush to protect her child irespective of whether she was naked or faced losing her life in the bargain. I don't think the issue here is how she was, but how she reacted to the situation. I hope everything ended well.

Hi there,
In my opinion, if that happens to me, i will do the same. I will going to find m child first. When you are in case, i don't think so, you can still think to get dressed.
My auntie before, she ran out of the house wearing underwear only, she was sleeping and awaken by the noise outside, it was my auncle drunk and fighting with someone else. It made her terrified. Luckily it was dark so men didn't notice that she's wearing underwear only.
Happy myloting.

I'd to the same. It is very obvious that someone walked into her home and took the baby. No 3 month baby just gets out of their crib, opens the front door and crawls away. I'm going to search for the news clip on this one though. It's a scary thought that a person would just walk in anothers house and steal a baby.

She had time to put on shoes but nothing else? You said the baby was gone..what happened there? Is She still Missing? And Why wasn't the front door locked to the House/ Apartment?

In a moment of panic I would understand this but at the same time it only takes a little presence of mind to grab a towel or even a dress and put it on while you are rushing out the door.
I have never appeared naked in public although I have rushed out of my quarters while putting on ther necessary.
A little, and I mean a little, presence of mind is needed here.

Hi, karenkarenkk.
As a mother of a baby boy, I would do the same like her. It's understandable that she forgot to wear the clothes because her first thought was all about her baby.
I am more concerned about the baby. Has she found her baby yet?? It's scary that someone will come in the house and kidnap the baby. How can the kidnapper know there is a baby in the house?? Is the kidnapper her ex???

Hello, Lulumartin, unfortunatly, she did not find her baby. I am not sure if the kidnapper her ex or not. It can be the one knows her quite well, and it can be a thief who try to steal things but happend to notice the kid and kidnapper the baby. Yes, it's really awful! We get to be more careful!

Hey karenkarenkk,
As a parent, your main concern is your children! I would do the same thing if this were happen to me! Her first reaction was to find her child, not to put some clothes on! So... did they find the child?

Hello, Prikayjo, thanks for your concern. Unfortunately, she is not in time to catch the kidnaper and save her kid : ( It's so not easy for a single mother to bring up a child by her own. It must be heart broken. Good luck, my friend.

Not much to think about here, I would do exactly the same, just as anyone else. I don't agree with her leaving the child alone in the first place, but surely running outside naked is not the worst thing she could have done? I mean, she had a very good reason, if she was just running outside naked for no reason then maybe we can doubt her sanity. Not only would I do the same thing, if I was her and had to run down the street naked to the next block I would still do it, that's her child! Anyway, being naked isn't such a big deal.

Oh yeah, I would be out the door in a flash, screaming my head off, and naked as the day I was born! OMG, there is no worse nightmare for a mother than having your child stolen or hurt. Being naked in public means nothing compared to your child. I hope she got her baby back unhurt.

Well it shows the intensity of her love towards her kid being a woman and it is humane to do such a thing to run out of the house in search of her kid what she did is not due to insanity but out of love I can say...smiles...thanx

As a mother, I would never think of myself in that case. Surely later she would be embarrased, but not until the baby was foung safe and sound.
My grandaughter had a couple of times convulsions due to very high fever when she was a baby. The first time it happened, I was called from the hospital. The lady said, could I bring shoes? Carolina was too little to use shoes so I didnĀ“t understand. My son in law (at that time they had no car) did not have his shoes on at the house, picked the baby, ran to stop a car in the street and never thought how he looked. It was summer, he was wearing some horrible house shorts and nothing else.
What else could he do?

I'm a man but could fully understand her moods then. To a mother, her child means everything. She may sacrifice herself for her child. This could be called "motherhood". Just as someone said, she might feel awkward later after she found her child. But even if time could be turned back, I believe that she would make the same choice. And I highly admire her behavior.

I can understand what she did. But my main concern is the child...your information was incomplete, was she able to find the baby? ...If i were in her shoes I would panicked as well...i have a 3 yrs old daughter and i always leave her in front of the television while i am taking bath, most of the time my husband is at work so its always me and my daughter but before I leave her I make sure firts that all the doors are locked and make sure that she is safe. I hope she finds her baby.
