Points Please?

Lately have joined a couple of sites that offer you points for prizes. At first I thought about not joining them I thought they would be a waste of time. Then the more I read about the site the more I thought ok I'll give this one a shot. So tell me is doing sites for point or prizes a good thing? Have you ever signed into sites that offer you points instead of money? Is it a waste of time or not?

I use three sites for points. I usually opt to get a gift card for Red Lobster. I use it to take my husband out for his birthday every year.
I think it is a good thing,because we could all use that Walmart gift card or something like that right? They have other things you can redeem points for too but I love my gift cards,they come in handy

I like it too. I mean money is good as well and I try for that but most of the time the three I use I do for my husband. he loves Red Lobster and I enjoy taking him out.

I wouldn't sign up with any that just gave prize draw entries but am a member of two or three where the points can be redeemed for shopping vouchers. They take a while to reach a worthwhile amount but, as long as you're not counting on the rewards but considering them as a bit of a bonus its fine.

Yeah the sites I'm on now are like you just said. I'm making more money on mylot then them but I'm hoping to earn enough to get something for my trouble.

I think it is a good thing. I love free prizes. I am a member of Lockerz and Swagbucks - both sites that give out free stuff. My favorite site is swagbucks, I earn more points (called swagbucks there) than I can on Lockerz. I've received 12 Amazon gift cards and a t-shirt from them so far. Oh, and I'm waiting for two more Gift Cards too. i find the site fun too because there are swagcodes every day that you hunt for or just go to a single site to get it.

Wow I never heard of swagbucks, but I understand there a few out there that let you gain points and then turn them in for prizes. I like Gift Cards too.

If you are interested in joining swagbucks, there is a banner for it in my profile. I can also PM you the link if you want.
iRazoo and MyPoints are other sites for gift cards. iRazoo is another search engine (like Swagbucks), you just search for sites and earn points when you rate them.
MyPoints is mostly a site where you earn points for shopping online - which I don't shop online at any of the sites they give points. They do send you emails everyday that you earn points from. It's a slow way to get points, but once you get enough points you can redeem them for amazon gift cards, panera, and many more. I received one Panera gift card.
