Since Manchester lost Cristiano Ronald, it is not the same anymore. i mean, they also make some goals and win some matches but the magic is lost.

It's Cristiano Ronaldo!! and I have to disagree with you that the magic is lost. Did you not watch Manchester United against Arsenal, Spurs or Manchester City???? All were fabulous games in which United ended up winning. We could not have won all three tests if we had "lost the magic" Rooney has had a sensational start and I fully expected him to take over from Ronaldo.

I can see both sides of the argument. When Ronnie was at United, we knew there was someone who can win us a match if we played well. I love Wayne, he's brilliant, but he hasn't proven if he could be the consistent match winner that we lost. He was brilliant in the Tottenham game, let's hope that was a sign of things to come.

Hi fallenjinx,
Manchester United have a good start this year compare to the previous years. They won five games and lost once. They might lost Ronaldo and Tevez but they have a good replacement for them. But the season just started and we can not make any conclusion just yet.
They might won against Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester City but they lost to the new comer, Burnley. So we can not say they will win all their remain games especially when they have to face Chelsea and Liverpool.

Yeah losing to Burnley, we tend to do that. I remember when we lost to Wolves and had a very had time against Derby. We tend to struggle against one newly promoted team. It's the United way.

Manchester United has not performed badly since the team lost Christiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid and Tevez to Manchester City. With five wins out of six in the premiership so far, that result is good. However, the team is not as strong and compact as it was last season. The true assessment of Manchester will come when the team meet teams like Chelsea and Liverpool. I equally have my doubt how far Manu U can go this season in the UEFA Champions League competition.

Considering they have lost Ronaldo they are doing pretty well. Was a good finish by Welbeck tonight. Cannot argue with the sending off for Fabio either. The Manchester derby was a great game although the rumblings about the extra injury time added at the end will probably go on for weeks, especially in Manchester.
