happy birthday to me!!!

Today, I celebrated/welcomed my midnight birthday at the hospital. Me and my friend have the same birthday but he was confined yesterday because his white blood cells got high. I was so worried because his family is out of the country and they don't have any idea of what happened to him. He is like my twin brother and we were very close. I decided to be with him because he was all alone at the hospital. We planned to celebrate it on some place but this incident happened. My other friends told me that having a high WBC is really bad. I hope his result will turn out to be good. He will stay there by one week. Please pray for him to get well soon. Next week will be his departure to Memphis and his flight might move because of that.
But I was so happy because I know I made him smile when I came by. Later on my friends will be here to celebrate my birthday! I'm now 24 @ September 24th. I wish my friend will be okay now. Thought he didn't really think about his illness. Because he showed me how happy he was when he saw me. I felt relieved but still worried about him. I was thinking second thoughts on celebrating my birthday with other friends because I know there is somebody who is close to me that is ill.

Thank you very much! sorry for the late reply. A lot of things happened after my birthday. I just got on the phone with my friend he is fine now. His flight for sept30th was canceled but at least he can have more rest. I like the virtual cake! Tank you so much! :)

it's so sad to hear that your friend is sick and is now in the hospital. it's so sad too, that you celebrate your birthday in the hospital instead of somewhere else that you can get some fun. well, i hope your friend get well soon. hope you will can celebrate later once he is well.

hey happy birthday. my birthday was last week but i was sick (and just starting to feel a little better now). i am hoping to have a birthday re-do with my hubby and kids later in october! (i did go out with my mom but felt awful, so we will be having a redo too!) hope your friend gets better soon.

First of all, mant happy returns!
There is a saying down here in Mexico, that you find out who your friends are when you're either in jail or in hospital. This guy needs you very much now, he might not show it. But it sounds pretty serious (at least to me) what he's got there, and I wish him all the best.

Thank you for the greetings! My birthday wish came true! He is now recovering. I have known some people but not really my close friend who has the same birthday. During my celebration I have two friends who is celebrating their birthdays with me. My friend's birthday is Sept 23, I am 24 and the other friend was Sept 26. It was so cool and fun knowing you have friends celebrating birthdays with you.
