Do you walk fast most of the time? Today, my co - worker told me that I walk fast, to and fro to the break room. She couldn't catch with me on the hallway. I told her that I didn't really walk that fast, at least I didn't feel it. Sometimes, I might walk a little bit fast, because I already get used to it. It was part of my habit. Because sometimes my work is in fast paced, and I have to adapt to it. Do you walk fast too?

Actually I don't like to walk too fast, and I don't want to paced myself out of breath. I just need to catch up with time, and trying to reach what I was suppose to do at time. I like slow pace, and enjoy myself all that.

Yeah, I always walk fast, even wandering or going shopping. My friends always holler at for it. But the same as you, clorissa, I don't realize it, because I get used to my pace. And my mother often ask me why, as she also cannot keep pace of me.
I think I started it when I was at Grade Five when I was in primary school. My family moved house at that time, I went to school and went home by bus everyday then. After I got off and walk home, you know, a lot of pupils about my age, but we were from different schools, we were walking home together. But as we were strangers for each other, no any talk or other communications. What we did is just walking home. But every kid, including me, wanted to be faster than others, - it was like a game. So we walked faster and faster.
It was interesting! And two years later, I went to middle school by bicycle, but I get used to walk fast!

I never thought about walking too fast or too slow before until I got into college and had to walk everywhere that I went. Before I knew it, I was walking very fast because I was always trying to keep up with the foot traffic and I was trying to walk as fast as I could so I could get to the places that I needed to go as fast as I could, as on this campus, time is precious.
Now it seems like I walk pretty fast anywhere that I go unless I just don't feel like walking that fast. If that seems to be the case, then I just kind of walk at a normal pace not too fast and not too slow.

No, I don't usually walk fast. I should say I am a slow walker. That's what my friends have been telling me. And, I agree with them. Not that I am a lazy typr. I like to walk slow and relaxed whenever possible. Ofcourse, when I need to, I would walk fast, fast enough to catch something, like to catch a bus. It is quite nice that you can walk fast !

lol That's what a few people have told me before. I don't think I walk fast, I walk not too slow and not too fast, I think they are just a little slow. Have you ever experienced when people walk in front of you, you just want to walk faster past them? It's like a walk race. I

I am a fast walker. I don't know since when, but apparently I had this habit for a long time ago perhaps since I was a little. When I walk with my friens sometimes I always walk in front of them like i didn't realize that I want to walk fast sometimes because I just want to quickly reach the destination.

I've walked fast for many years. I especially walked fast during my high school years and college years because I didn't want to be late for class. I also wanted to have plenty of time to review my notes for a given class, before class started. Walking fast is also good exercise, in that it is a beautiful way to burn calories.

I do walk very fast. I think I am always in a hurry so I tend to rush up almost everything, even my walking style. Even with high heels, I have no problem to walk fast. I don't see that as a bad thing. I can dodge salesman fast enough My friends always complain on how fast I walk but it seems the habit is catching up to them too.

I walk pretty fast when I'm at work unless I'm having an off day. I always have so many things to do and not enough time to get them done in and my managers do indeed expect them to be done by the time I go home, so I try to walk and work as fast as I can! If I get around faster it leaves more time for me to actually do the work...hehe.

I do not normally walk fast. I will walk fast though if I am outside and it is cold or raining and I want to get inside. I also sometimes have to walk fast to keep up with my son or granddaughter or I feel left behind.

Hi clorissa
I was looking around the site and saw that you had this discussion. I'm not a fast or slow walker. I guess that kinda puts me in the middle range of walking. Is there a middle walking..LOL..I can walk fast when need to be and I guess I can walk slow if need to be. Good discussion and you have a great week..Oh yeah don't forget to smile...

I use to walk fast when I was younger and had a fast-paced job. I always thought that if I did not arrive at once at the office, I would somehow miss something. Cellphones changed that since I could be reached anywhere, and so I learned to slow down my pace a little. But as I grew older, I appreciated the benefits of walking slow and appreciating your environment. Nowadays, I like to walk slow to be able to stop and smell the roses. It adds quality to my day.

I think I walk faster than the average person. Although I have seen people walk way faster than me. I walk faster when I am alone. My speed depends on my mood and how fast I want to get things done or want to reach some place. When a person walks fast people tend to think that the person is smart and hardworking. But one should not walk too fast or people would suggest you enter a walking race.

yup, I walk really fast, and my officemates also have commented on it, they say that when I walk it seems that somebody is always following me, or that I'm trying to run from someone. lol. anyway, I just like walking fast, I never liked walking slow.. it's just the way that I grew up..

I walk fast because that's how I get things done. If I am too slow in walking, it's because I might not be feeling well or my feet are hurting. My mother often complains that I have no elegance because I walk too fast. It's not in my nature to be slow and I imagine, I will be this way for years to come.

I always walk fast, especially when I am busy with something. But my close friends all seem to like walking slowly. I feel walking slowly is very tired and a waste of time. But when I am alone walking on the road perhaps in the evening, I may walk slowly. That's a share of life.
