please try you best to get well with your boss and coworkers, this should be very important for your woke life now and even future. i believe your boss should have some working ability is better than you, so please try to obey the orders from your boss in your work project and don't argue with that unless you have enough reason to persude your boss.
in your personal life and i think you can follow the advice from stagewhisperin fifth floor, it should be a very good idea to shut up your mouth when you have defferent opinions on politics, news, cultures etc. Good luck.

I must be unbelievably fortunate because I have yet to have a boss that I didn't like. I've had bosses where we've had an issue or two to work out, but no personal dislikes or anything of the sort.
I do my best to get along with all of my coworkers and bosses. If we have differing opinions on politics or religion, I keep my mouth shut and just use the trusty old method of smiling and nodding before changing the subject. It hasn't caused any problems for me yet, and everyone stays happy that way.

I definitely try to maintain a good relationship with my boss ,that's for sure! I like my boss - I'm VERY lucky to have her - so that's a big part of it. Otherwise, though, even when I have had bosses that I didn't necessarily LIKE, I would go out of my way to try to be helpful and to gain their respect. I've also had a boss where it was EXTREMELY hard, if not impossible, to please her in any way. She was nit-picky. I did what I could - but I felt like she was always upset with me on a personal level for some reason. I never figured that one out; but she eventually got fired, and I got a new boss (my very nice boss right now!). I definitely think that office relations or having a good relationship with your co-workers is a GREAT idea. It makes working together so much easier, and actually fun and tolerable. It makes work a little less like work, which is always good if you ask me!

I did have a hard time on my past work. My boss is unpredictable and perfectionist thus, working with him is unbearable. However, on myh present company, I am fortunate to ind my superior to be kind and considerate. But eventhough they are easy to work with, I make it a point to give some distance and maintain the supervisor-staff relationship.
