I don't believe to cricise my own country. Whichever it is,it is mine. How can criticise me. I have seen many people of my country who tell very good to other country their people and say bad words to own country.According to me they are indirectly to blamming themselves by targetting on country. When some people critcise their own country i tell them that you are cricising yourself not your country becasue country is made by countryman themselves. How can you criticise yourself. So keep your thumb up and take pride of your country. Have a nice day!! Cheers Ranvir

I am Indian and I can't say anything negative about my country, we are responsible for everything that happens in our place and as such I love my country. Yes it is an developing country and some people just keep on complaining instead of working for a better place. When we see slumps and filth all around the place we just close our mouth and nose and walk away instead of try and clear it up so i don't think we have the rights to criticize. If we can't help in the growth process we have no right to say anything negative

I am indian too and as a country men we are responsible for many things.Yes i am agree with you, should understand our responsibility. In our home whenever we feel dirty we clean it same way , should behave for country. If you have guts to clean ,not throw garbage anywhere or clean that place and tell people to do so if you want to change in system.Only we people of country can change image of our country as well as improve system.

That is good manner. Most of the people who doen't have guts to survive , criticise own country and people. People who has power to change the general myth is not going to say single words toward country or country people. It is very good that younger person like you have thoughts like this. Our country is same like our house and brothers and sisters whic quarrel continously with small things and unit with each other in worse condition. We should try to rectify problem , should not play blame game. Have a nice day! Cheers Ranvir

yes that is true. when we criticize our country we sould criticize the people in our country. cause our country development only depends on the people. and so mostly when i say i am not happy with my country i am saying that i am not happy how people develop or contribute to their country. we lack patriotism and so i think that we as a people of this nation has to develop a love for our own country. that is very important. cause most people around here when they work abroad, they only think how they will earn big money and for self gain. they are not thinking how they will be able to give back to their own country. i think those people here who have earned big or become a millionaire in other country should get back in my country set up a business and create a job here and not keep the money to themselves or just stay most of their lives in other country. they should think how to help people here and that way we can see our own country be developed. i do like to help my country in every possible way that i can but still i don't know how i can do that. i am just trying to develop my skills as of now as i can give back something to my own country. the least that i can do as of now is to buy local brands and products and so that i will patronize our own and that will help us to create more jobs for our people.

Hi Hotsummer, Your thoughts are very good and inspiring. My thinkig is also same whenever i criticise my country directly or indirectly i criticise myself. There may be many things which is not in favour of good reputation of my country. There are many times i don't pick garbage from train and drop into dustbin, there are many times i don't stop others to throw garbage at public place. So in my house i control my children to keep it clean, should say other people to keep my country clean. so it is my duty to tell them not to only criticise. Have a nice day! cheers Ranvir

I do believe that there are cynical guy in the world as one of my friends is. He is the same age with me, after several time attempting for jobs and girls here, he becomes so cynical that always scold the society unfair and criticize that the country did not perfect for all kinds of system. I think the people who always cricisize their own country are the radical guy that we should blame for. Once they confront with the difficulty or the unfairs, they did not dig out the reason from themselve and turn the reason to the country. No matter what nationality he is, he will do the same as the personality decides

Even we cannot stop him because they are psychic towards their thoughts.YOu always can't expect good from you country there are some responsibility of your too to make it great. If you want to see good try firt from you. YOu cannot tell other to do perfectly , first you should show them what is perfect and good for them.If you can able to imbibe good mannerism in you ,that will attract others to do so. HI, I'm not agree with you. I think you have to be realistic, in my country we have many problems, I critizice them, I know too that in some grade I'm part of the problem, but if I myself don't recognize those problems, how start to doing something to resolve them? I agree with you, in that when you speak with foreigners you have to try to show the best things of your country, but with your compatriots you have to be true, and specially with yourself. Other way you are just fooling yourself. ClaNoe

I hate to crticise my country though I do know that as individuals we have many defects. Now . who doesn't? If we are guilty of some things people from other countries have other defects. So,I am only proud of the culture, the many positive aspects found in our country as a whole and also the positive attributes of my countrymen.

Hi Kalav, Nice to receive response from you.To love your country you cannot only see defects of our country. We are very great in real things of life like interpersonal relations, culture, and manythiings. Our positive points are more than enough to love our own than others. Here we should not criticise others too. I am very sorry if someone felt bad. But as a country men we are having more things to proud than to critisize. Have a nice day!! cheers Ranvir

I think each country has their own problem. And so critiquing the country is one way of expressing one's love for the country. If one does not criticise at all then one does not highlight the problem that one faces. One reason for having given the right to freedom of speech is that we can criticise the state too. I think politicians need to be criticised, not for the sake of doing it, but because the system is not perfect so we need to criticise so that we may rectify the problems. And bureaucracy and other domain all have their own share of problem. And they all need rectification.

Look ...it is right that each country has their own problem. Here i am talking about system which is follow by people of country. If you want change in something , should start it from you and your home. You cannot cricize system for the sake of timepass only. Image of country is build by ours,ie country people if you himself not follow the system then how can you expect better image of country. And cricize in closed room never rectify problem; if you realy want to rectify than you have to raise your hand against those problems continously. If you are awakened as a country men then ;no problem will be face by any person. Have a nice day!! Cheers Ranvir

Hi ranviruchanuhan, often we criticise our country by criticising the politicians and their policies which are not generally representative of the peoples wishes. That is a completely different thing to criticising ones country and people and that distinction should be made. Often times the people who make these policies do not make them as something the people of the country can feel proud of but the good thing is that we do have the right to criticise.

Hi thea, If your criticism is going to change the system or people then it is ok. But if you are criticising only in closed room then it is not useful. If you really want to criticise then openly oppose it and make all know that you defend this decision. Don't be participant in criticism , take steps to improve it too. Don't be a dumb as a awakened coutry mem just do something is very really helpful to change. Have a nice day! Cheers Ranvir

Hi Shibham! Happy to hear from you! Yes you are right but here people criticize about general behavior and mentality of people. People criticizes system of our country, they talk only in closed room but never oppose that behavior openly. If you really don’t like that behavior then openly oppose it why are you criticizing it in closed room? Have you tried to tell opposite people about his/her nonsense thing. You should give them chance by telling them . Have a nice day!! Cheers Ranvir

It's said that 'you will never know the value of your eyes when it's there'. When we go to a place & if there is atleast a single thing that we don't like, we start to say against that. When people are in their college, they might say that their college is the worst, but after they pass out & after some years, they will realize hoe great their college was. Similarly, people will know the greatness of the country once they go out to some other place. But still it might be true that there are better places in the world for us to live, but after all home is home. Happy Lotting

Hi taz,yes you are right, i live in distance from my state, and missing all culture of there. Most of the people not concern about what is in themselves but they always watch bad things about others. For increament of importance and proud towards some place parting from that place is necessary. Even in some case if you go more worst place than some what good then you can understand value of that somewhat good place. So some incidence should happen in one's life to understand value to some place. Have a nice day!!Cheers Ranvir

I do not know whether you are from India. I am. I feel criticism is necessary for everything to run smoothly, Whether it be an organization or one's country. When you criticize your country you actually criticise the people who run it and God knows Indian politicians do deserve a lot of criticism. The way this country is being run could do with a lot of improvement. Greater good of the masses should be at the heart of each politician rather than individual or residual gains for the community, area he represents. This getting above cast and creed is of utmost importance. In spite of all this I am proud of my country for I still believe the majority of this huge population of ours is still good to their neighbours and feel for each other.

Hi Abhik, I am an indian.Yeah criticism is necessary if it reach to concern person. Criticism done in closed room is useless. But as per my observation, most of the criticism is discussed based on system like in govt offices workers are lethargic, anyone can break traffice rule etc.So most of the sytem maintained in country by country men.So if you yourself not following system properly and then criticize is not right way for improvement. But even after all you love something of your country is very good. Have a nice day! Cheers Ranvir

I believe we need to respect the country we belong to and pride ourselves of being a citizin of that country. Every country on this planet have there pros and cons. Nothing is completely perfect. It is we who have to take it to ourselves to make our place the perfect place. We need to be happy about who we are and who we represent, do our best for the development of our society or our country. And not just our country but we need to respect people from every country . We are all humans , so I think we all should respect Humanity. We should promote our country and culture to other countries. I surely am Proud of who I am and where I am from. Cheers to All. Take Care folks.
