Hi Myloters,
Today my internet connection is really getting bad I guess it because of the power getting on and off. But today I been posting discussion and comments and every so often the internet connection drops and its doesn't say unable to connect but my browser just keep saying its connecting and waiting for about 5 minutes its really get to me so I have to hit the button to refresh and there the text I made is gone! Arrrrgg it really annoy me because I did this about 3 time today and you know it was three post I just lost because of this internet connection interruption.
Oh boy I think I better get off the net before I think of bashing my computer.
Does this kind of thing happen to you as well?
Thanks myloters

Same thing here, my internet connection is slow and that really makes the posting boring and sometimes the text gets lost mid way and here is when i lose my patience and switch off my notebook. I can't bash it up though lol but i too feel like kicking it up at times

what is the speed of your internet? I think you need to reset your modem and router for 10 seconds because of clogging, also try to clear cookies and temp files if reset and clearing of cookies doesn't find the solution for your problem, try to upgrade the speed of your ISP.

I know what you mean. It's actually happened to me a few times. My ethernet cord is a bit unstable because my dog chewed on it so sometimes I get disconnected without even noticing. I'll be typing up my post like nothing's wrong but when I try to submit it I'm given an error and I realize that I've lost my post. It's really frustrating at times, especially when the response I typed up is really long. I guess this just motivates me to be a bit more active so that I can reach 500 posts sooner so that I can use the whole 'cut and paste' thing. I'll be able to type up my discussions in notepad or something first and then just paste it on.

Hey,
Yea of course it annoys me, and I also hate it when I type a really good response in myLot and then I hit the 'post response' button and then I wait for a few seconds, and then it says something like the page cannot be displayed. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I encountered such a thing, the network frequently interrupted, I telephoned the operators, they told me the problem is their line. This problem has plagued me as long as half a year. After the operator to extend my use of time of six months. I told them the treatment is quite satisfactory. No network of life, really very bad, I like the network, like mylot, I wish you good luck.

i have come across the similar thing like you. the problem of the internet connection is almost alike all over the world. i often write my words in the notepad, and paste it onto the web page, so even though the connection is unstable, my work will not lost, doing in this way is a little troublesome, but i have no idea, what about you?

Some times it is caused too by a browser specially if you visit a lot of site which are rich in media or pictures. You temp dir is near full or the files in it are too fragmented. I experience that too from time to time and all I do is to close my browse, clean up my temp dir then restart it again. If it is caused by your line connection then you have no other choice but to wait for it to normalize.

Our internet connection is quite bad, and sometimes I am only able to spend 5 or 10 minutes online, and that is very frustrating. When I write a response, I always copy it before I try to submit it, that way I can find the discussion again and paste my response into the discussion instead of starting over. In the beginning when I wasn't able to copy and paste I lost a lot of responses. Sometimes I had to start over twice, and I was tempted to toss my computer out of the window

I have face these problem a lot.Sometime when the loading time to mylot take too long,I press f5 to refresh the page and THERE! my hard written comment is gone! It is very annoying. The worst part of it is i can't copy paste my comment if i copy it first because i haven't reach 500 post :( I have no solution to this problem too, just need to be patient and type everything all over again.
