Deleted photos in my PC

Hi all, can anyone help me how to retrieve deleted photos in the PC? I am using compaq presario, window vista and my husband accidentally deleted the Photo folder while doing the transfer on external drive. The worst thing is that he also deleted the file on the receylce bin not realizing that the file came from the C drive and not from the external drive.
I tried to seard on the net for some software to retrieve the files such as Undelete but I can only manage to view those deleted files. Once I want to retrieve, they ask me to pay. Is there any site that offers free software for recovering files?
Please help.

Files deleted from recycled bin are not really remove from the drives they are merely remove from the FAT or NTFS, it only remove the data about the files, the file name, allocation and other details, the area are then marked as available, it stay there until the operating system overwrite that area. So the safest way is to not save or change any files until you undelete the files you are looking for. Try uneraser or file recover. Good luck.

I wish to know what is your size of your recycle bin so that we can come to know. It you wish to retrive it from your system that is your recycle bin then i suggest you to download steller phonix trial version then you can recover your images. I guess this might be helpful to you.

Try to use getdataback ntfs/fat depend on your disk type... that is powefull for getting your data back

you can recover your photos folder which is deleted.. you can use some software for recover that folder..there is a software..name easy recovery.. so use that software..and recover your folder and files...
