Does Limewire slow my computer down

yep, it slows down your pc. If you wanna download some torrents, Utorrent is recommeded. You should be using limewire due to security issues anyways.

Yeah it is. It really eats up a lot memory on your PC. You better uninstall it because there a lot of alternatives out there on the net. Utorrent is one of these it doesn't eat a lot memory space on your PC and also you don't to install it just run it's executable program and that's it you'll be fine.
