Writing or Typing what do you prefer?

Hello dolmitta, I would rather type than write. Ever since, I learned to use the computer, and now that computers are everywhere, I'd prefer to type any letters than write it myself. I don't have a good penmanship, so the reader might misread what I wrote so I'd rather type it so everything would be clear. and typing is faster have fun posting!

Hi there dolmitta Well I can definatly say that I prefer to type especially as I am allowed to use my voice right now due to an operation. It is a real pain having to write everything down all the time and I can type so much quicker almost as if I have a voice again!!

Depending on the situation; sometimes I like to type, while at other times I like to write. It depends. If I have lots of articles to draft, I'll write first before typing..

I like to do both, writing by pen is more personal and I find writing my diary more therapeutic too a lot of things I do write down, but when it comes to myLot and other sites then I prefer typing as that is what is needed anyway cos you couldn't write it here lol...LoLo

I like to write because I love my handwriting. I'm kind of junkie when it comes to buying pens and paper. But if I have to write a lot I would rather type it because handwriting makes my hand cramp after a while.

I prefer typing because I can type faster than writing with my hand. Also my hand writing isn't as neat and my hand will get tired right after. I don't want my hand to be swollen lol. I am learning to writea my first novel which will consist of hundreds of pages. Can you imagine the mess I could make if I write the draft with my hand? lol

I prefer to type because I type with a speed of 50 - 55 words per minute. So,it is easy for me to type compared to writing finding a pen and a paper. But, there are lots of a differences between typing and writing. If I want to draft a love letter, of course I will write it. I don't type it and take a print out. The feeling is different if you see a hand written email and a print out.

Typing, I guess. I do have a very bad hand writing. I don't even know how to write in cursive. lol =)

Hi Dolmitta, Im more comfortable to type my manuscript right now with the use of computers. I think Im more efficient in writing because I can be able to insert easily my thoughts by typing it and afterwards rearrange all my thoughts. Writing long articles will just give me lots of wasted papers and unendless corrections in my paper. How about you?
