Hi friends! Many of us get one weekly off i.e. Sunday. We enjoy our Sunday in the best possible manner and make ourselves relaxed and recharged for the next week. However, there may be few lucky ones, for whom 'Everyday is a Sunday'. Are you the one? Do you feel that every day is a Sunday for you? Please share your opinions. Thanks in advance.

Hi ck! So you accept that everyday is Sunday for you because all the days of week are same for you and it is your own will whether you want to work or relax. You are your own master..........LOL! It is good that when the actual Sunday comes you are able to fulfill your desire of going to Church to pray to God. Keep enjoying every day as Sunday. Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and admitting that Everyday is Sunday for you.

OK! Ck! Even if it is your husband you still can take liberaty to be your own master...............LOL!. I can understand that house hold affairs sometimes keep you busy and everyday cannot be Sunday. As far as I am concerned, my Sunday is the actual Sunday only, I remain busy on rest of the days of the week.

hello dpk, To me, everyday's a MONDAY! I'm a stay at home mother looking after my two year old toddler. Day in day out I do the same thing at home. Weekday or weekend is still the same. I cant stop caring for my child. I have to do it full time. So to me, everyday's a MONDAY!

Hi Sub! I did not know that for a person everyday could be a Monday. As you have said that you are required to work 7 days week and you keep busy in house hold affairs and do not get any kind of off day, therefore, you treat everyday as Monday. I think there would be many like you, who are stay at home mothers, who might be thinking in the same manner, as you have thought. Many thanks for being the first one to respond and for sharing your thoughts.

I work very sincerely and hard if I have a work in hand.Or else I relax any day any time.I always hated the Monday blues. So I make my holidays if I do not have things that are to be attended immediately.

When you love your job , everyday can be like Sunday. I am so lucky that I love my job And I get Sundays off. I try to enjoy each day the best way I can. On work days that means getting my work done. On the days I have off, I have fun either shopping or staying home and watching a movie or t.v. show.

Hi Sara! You have a point to make that if one loves his/her job, everyday could be lika a Sunday, it is our perception, how we look towards a particular day. It is nice to know that you are in a job, which is of your choice and you enjoy indulging into it. This proves your positive attitude.. It is all the more good that on actual Sundays you do activities to make yourself rejuvenated and relaxed. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful thoughts. Full marks to you. Deepak

Sunday is the day when I finish all my pending housework because that is the only day that I get a holiday. It is a day when I make sure all my washing and cleaning is done so that I do not have trouble the whole week. So I could hardly say that it is day that I enjoy and relax and get recharged. Probably when I join a new job and have more time at home then maybe I would be relaxing and getting recharged on Sundays.

If a day to relax and recharge is the identifying mark of a Sunday then I have to say that I never see that day. No matter how hard I try to get all my work done before the weekend lately I have not been able to do so. What with driving everyone else where they need to go and trying to get my work done around their schedule it makes life very difficult.

Hi savak! I can understand your point of view and your state of affairs, I understand that all the other days of the week, except Sunday are busy days for you and when the weekend comes you come to know that the Sunday has come. Sunday appears to be a busy day for you for disposing of pending work and you cannot relax, as you would have liked to. Thanks for sharing about you. dpk PS - HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS ON TOUCHING 2000 mark.

Deepak, For some time now Sunday is a day i wish gets over very fast and it's for various reasons. In the true sense of the phrase , No i'm not one of the lucky ones to be able to have a truly carefree and relaxed life. In today's hectic life it does get difficult to even think of Sunday as dady to relax. Most people working land up in doing their household chores and other activities on Sundays.

Hi alokn! I can understand your point of view and your state of affairs, I understand that all the other days of the week, except Sunday pass so quickly that you never come to know that a week had ended. It is the Sunday, which reminds you that a week has anded and another one is going to start. Sunday appears to be a busy day for you for disposing of pending work and you cannot relax, as you would have liked to. Thanks for sharing about you.

Well, even though Sunday is one of my days off, and a chance to go to church and worship God everyday is a day to Praise god for a new day and chance to carry on. We should always thank God for what he has given us. It is actually my second day off as I also have Saturdays off, but besides church it gives me a chance to relax, catch up in here, and just enjoy my time with my husband.

No Deepak! Only Sunday is a Sunday for me.But this Sunday is like any other day for me; it is as relaxed or "not" relaxed as any other day.I have the same routine of household duties on Sunday also ; I do not have any special programs for Sunday except , may be, some extended chat at home with family or some good film on T.V. Otherwise , my routine is the same.On week days, I may be a trifle busier in the morning but it is just a marginal difference.

Hi Kala! What I gather from your response is though 'Sunday' comes as 'Sunday' for you, however, it is more or less like any other day of the week. I can understand that you are the house manager, therefore, you need to look after the affairs of your home throughout 7 days of the week. Many thanks for being the second one to respond and for sharing your thoughts. Deepak

dpk hi from hatley , well some might say that the life I am' living is something like everyday is Sunday but yet even with all the waiting on us, and nothing much to do its not really'very Sunday like to me. Forone thing I did not want to come here, and' dont really want to be here but it was not a matter of want to,'but a matter of have to or live on the streets. circumstances were so bad, my son lost his job, we were evicted from our apartment, the person who was going to help us rent an apartment changed her mind at the last possible second. so we became homeless so I am in this place so I have a bed to sleep in and a place to stay, waited on like either a princess or most likely an old unwanted woman, and my son is in a gov.paid apartment with three other guys, all of whom are looking for work.cou ld be worse i guess so maybe its a bit sundayish but not really all that wonderful either. when my son gets a job and we can accumulate enough money to get an apartment again each day will be a bloody miracle.

Hi Hatley! I am really sad to know that you had to face such a torrid and testing time. I did not know about it. I can understand your feelings and your fight for a decent accomodation and living. God willing, things will become normal very soon, our best wishes are with you. As far as point of discussion is concerned, you can say that every day is a same for you (like a holiday), however, due to present state of affairs, you won't call it a relaxing Sunday. Thanks for sharing about you.

Hi dear Chaitra! Your response tells that at least you have two Sundays in a week i.e. Saturday and the actual Sunday, when you can relax and dispose of your pending work of the week gone by. It is good that you take full advantage of your Sundays and enjoy your Sundays to the hilt. Thanks for joining and sharing. Deepak

My Sundays are just as bsuy as the other days of the week even though in a different manner. It all depends on what is going on in life at a given time and what the obligations are.

Hi Deepak, Hope all is well. For me each day is Sunday and each day is Monday too...Because its nit that we get so much time to relax on Sundays. So I would say everyday is Sunday But sometimes I feel everyday is Sunday..:-) The idea of being mindful — being present, being more conscious of life as it happens — seems a bit impossible to many of the super busy. But it is true we are all busy in life which is good. Take care, Aira

HI Aira! All is well at my end. I agree with you that it is our perception, how do we treat each day of a week. If in our mind we can feel that everyday is Sunday, yet keep on accomplishing our task, we would feel more relaxed and happy inside. Thanks a lot for such a great thoughts. Deepak

I have two rest day to reserve the energy for next week, and commune to my hometown when the holiday comes. But sometimes it is really tired of travelling weekly. I can not image what does it mean," Every day is a Sunday". Do you refer to the relaxed status of life? If a guy has an routine job daily and strive for life, it is impossible to have that kind of manner, hehe..

My husband and I are both unemployed, so we get to do what we want, when we want, every day of the week. I wish every day really was a Sunday though, because that those nice Croatian and Serbian programs we listen to every Sunday afternoon would be on every day of the week.

Yes. Everyday is a Sunday for me. Earlier I was working and as per, if I am correct, William Words Worth's poem, No time to stand and stare. Always running race, always umpteen tasks in hand, waiting for bus, auto, looking after kids' extra curricular activities and running to competitions, prize distribution, taking them to dentist, going to tailor, then school day, white ribbon, white bangle, wild animal chart,Presidents' chart, buying cardboard for making chart, oh my goodness, no time to look at the mirror and comb hair properly. But now, after taking retirement, every interest came to me afresh, be it reading, writing, watching TV, talking to near and dear ones over phone. Now I feel how much I missed all these days. So whether Monday or Sunday, all are my days and all are fun days.

Hi Buchi! So you accept that everyday is Sunday for you because all the days of week are same for you and it is your own will whether you want to work or relax or wish to work out your hobbies like reading, writing or somtheing like that. You are your own master..........LOL! I can understand that yesteryears were hectic for you, when you would be busy looking after your family and running here and there to finish the targets. However, now it is time for you to relax and look back. Keep enjoying every day as Sunday. Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and admitting that Everyday is Sunday for you.

I do not have a job yet, as you may know. I am looking for one however, and my husband has a job. His day's off vary, so we can't really call it always a "sunday" or even a "weekend" for that matter. When I was working I did find that I Was relaxed after work, but then sometimes I wasn't. There was one job that I worked at where I got weeks off at a time, but then worked really hard the days that I worked. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was something I was passionate about working hard for. It started to make me sick because of the long hours, so I quit, my husband's request.
