If you are a hot pepper lover, what would you say is the hottest pepper in the world? Some people says it si chili, and some says jalepenos...i disagree...have eaten both raw and cooked in many ways still don't think they are hot. So what is the hottest pepper that you know about or have eaten?

I do think it is the Jalepenos but mind you, I've had many Thai Chillis and sometimes I think they are in the same grade. Thai Chilles tend to be a bit smaller but with a really knack when you have them. I just know that the Thai name is Prieck Kee Noo. I'm sure it'll give the jalepenos a good match up.

I just finished watching a show on the Food Network - where they were talking about chilies... the hottest is Habinero...or however it is spelt.

The Guinness Book of World Records has named Bhut Jolokia as the hottest chilli in the World. Bhut Jolokia means ‘ghost chillies’ in Assamese and is from the northeastern region of India.
