well I wake up daily after the sun has raised, it is due to I work late in the night and wake up only after sun raise. So, I daily miss the sunrise in my life a lot. Coming to sunset, I do get chance to see sunset sometimes not daily. But till to this date, I did not see a picturistic sunrise or sunset.. :(

unfortunately i have been seeing too many sunrises due to sleepless nights because of sinus/asthma issues! not that i dont like the sunrise, dont get me wrong, but i would prefer a sleep in between!

I think most people would share that sentiment,Cher, they'd prefer to have a Choice to have the opportunity to watch and enjoy a sunrise, rather than being unslept and in discomfort while observing it..

it ihas been long snce i have seen a sun rise.... most of the times i get an opportunity to see the sun set. we are all the while busy with our life and running behind work and materialistic pleasures. amidst all this we forget to, rather, we are unable to spare time for nature.

I have seen both. It was a spectacular view seeing the sun gradually rose in the east and sets in the west . It has been a long time though. The last i saw it was when i was in the rural area of my hometown. Me and my friends were playing some sort of hide and seek a couple of years back when we saw the setting of the sun. It was breathtaking and an unforgettable experience. The rays of the sun changing from yellowish to yellow-orange was amazing. A beauty to behold indeed. The sunrise on the other hand was just the same. Not much of a difference really. I was at school in the tallest building of our campus when i saw the setting of the sun. We were having a school camp when me and my classmates went to the rooftop of the building one early morning and saw the sunrise. Those are one of the times worth remembering

Hello friend I have sunrise and sunset many times. I was born in rural area where skyscrappers do not block the sun. So I had the opportunity to see both of them. The view is very refreshing indeed in the morning.

I like seeing sunset very much since I think it one of the most beautiful things in life. Don't missing the beautiful things around your life. By the way, there is an old poem in our China said:"?????,??????" It means that enjoying the infinite beauty of sunset, but bemoaning the dusk's coming near. Hope you'll like it.

Its been a long time since I saw a sunrise. I have seen more sunsets than sunrises. I think I saw the last sunset two months ago. I live in a city and there are many buildings around the place I live. So the sunrise I see is the sun rising through the buildings. Its not so scenic. Although I like the color of the sun at sunrise and sunset.

I have seen a really amazing sunrise, just recently when I was on vacation in Maui. We went on top of a volcano to watch the sunrise. The thing that was cool, is the volcano is so high, we were up above the clouds. It was really cool to see. Also, it was crazy, because it was so early, (about 5am) but there were about 100 people there to see it.

I havent seen sunset and sunrise because I am living in the city where big buildings are around. But I really love to see sunset and sunrise because for me it is very overwhelming and a friend of mine said that if you happens to see that you will appreciate all the work of god.

Not only you and me, every one might have seen both the sunset and sunrise... But now a days I can't, because of my work schedule. But when ever I have a chance to go to my city, I will never miss this wonder, either in the morning or in the evening I will go for a walk on the beach side, that beautiful scenery with breeze, cool and fresh air, along with that "sundal" a spicy dish... Great... And Now I feel that moment... Thank you for making me remember that occasion.... Great topic... Thank you my friend.....

Sun rises everyday and sets everyday... but how many days we really care to watch the rising and setting of the sun? We have to plan a trip to watch these phenomena happening. What we can easily get hold of our balcony or window... we go to mountains and hills, by the river side or sea beaches to catch a glimpse of that.Sometimes I really think how funny this to be. But again, I do consider that there is different ways of doing things for each. Like when we go to church or temple we take bath, wear fresh clothes and then go to pray. This makes us feel good from inside and we can also identify ourselves with the atmosphere around. In the same way if we really want to experience he breath taking view of the sunrise or the sunset, then we need to chose the right place and the right time so that we can have an unforgettable moment, a moment that we will want to cherish for the rest of our life. It should be the best sunrise or the sunset of our life so that we do not have any regrets even if we fail to catch hold of the everyday phenomena from our window or balcony.
